They are Ministry of Defence police not London City , their role is security antiterrorism and public safety on a military property . Crowd control is under public safety at change over times .

Household cavalry mounted regiments. Blues and royals are the blue uniforms. Life guards are the red uniforms. I think the both do the same thing at Horseguards. They participate in parades and other ceremonies and they have a couple of bands
