The most mysterious are clips under the button flaps. Thanks to your video it was possible to disassemble without damage. Thank you very much!

Thanks bro for the video. I got it all wrong at the first attempt, no confident I have it installed back, then I saw your video. I have this Philip model FC8670 exactly the same as yours. I think spraying WD40 or grease will help lessen the noise.

Did you try spaying WD40 and did it help?

Thank you so much this was extremely helpful! My motor became very noisy and it doesn't vacuum very well. I thought by opening I can maybe tighten something that's become loose, but after seeing your tutorial, I realised there's nothing there I can actually fix and possibly need to take the motor itself for repair, which I suspect would be so costly, that's it'd be easier to just get a new one. In your experience, what is usually the case with those motors and is it fixable? Thanks!

Usually fixing the motor is expensive. You could take the motor for repair and ask for a quote. Then you can decide if it's too expensive for you or not.
