- It's time!! We are so excited to be opening our pool for the season and taking you guys along with us on the process. This pool was previously closed for 20+ years with a deck on top of it but we restored it back in the summer of 2021.

A slide from the top deck to the pool would be kind of fun!
Just a note about your pool plant area. UV rays from the sun can degrade the pipes over time, causing them to get brittle. This could end up causing a leak at some point down the line. I would strongly recommend getting atleast a roof over the plant area to protect the pipework from the sun. Ideally it would be fully enclosed to prevent the sun from touching the pool equipment at all. Enclosing it would also dampen the sound from the pump.

Your outdoor space/patio is just so inviting! I could see you having an all-day cookout hangout. Especially when the basement is done. Will the old patio table be going up on the deck? (maybe with a sandbag to hold it?)
We actually ended up selling it on Facebook marketplace! We will find something a little nicer for up top eventually :)
this video was great. i wouldn't worry too much about a certain direction or strict filming schedule for your videos, i think majority of us like to see what you guys share when you decide to share it! love the part when you reclined back into your new patio chair and you said "you know like after you have a big meal" that's exactly what i had envisioned in my mind as you said it 😂 love the content, thanks again for sharing with all of us!
One tip is that those chemicals that you added in granular form must be dissolved in water from your pool in another container to stop them ending up in the filter!!!!

You should switch your hanging chairs with your outside couch and chairs. Set those in that corner with the fire feature. That way your furniture isn't halfway behind your stairs, it would look more cohesive 🩷

No you shouldnt be able to taste the salt at all (shouldig get in your mouth) its a very small amount
I can't believe that your basement, patio area, and pool were both just closed off. It's hard for me to have a home like that and not utilize these areas? What you two have done so far probably increased the property values by 25% to 30%. And by the time that you're done, maybe by 45%

They're from Pioneer Pools! They're called the Imperial Reclining Dining Chair :)

Pioneer Pools! The chairs are a part of the Imperial Collection and I think the dining table is called the Universal Extension Table!

Cut the tree if you need to, plant a new tree elsewhere, you already plant so many things, you are not part of the problem, you guys are totally pro plant🍻 if the tree is causing that much to get caught in your filter it makes sense to cut it
