Very nice work using a story stick for that wardrobe. You are often dealing with houses that are not square. Your customer is very fortunate to find a tradesman like you to come in and build a fitted wardrobe. Half laps with just a circular saw require skill and experience. Using my table saw, I have to work it out on a test piece until I get it right. It was a great idea to bring your portable table saw along. This was an impressive project, great job Mark!
Customers tell me they appreciate my attention to detail. I love what I do I hope it comes across. Just skills I’ve learned over the years. My table saw is new since just before Christmas, the old one wasn’t mine sort of on loan so I needed to buy one. I might do a review of it when I get the time. Take care David
Great build Mark as always. Odd seeing you without your hat on. 😄. Love the intro to your videos now, very welcoming. Hope you, Dawn and the family have a great 2023. Hope you feel better soon, take care. Jim
Yes I obviously don’t wear my hat at home and occasionally it comes off. 🤣Most of the time I wear hats 🎩 😃 I’m pleased everyone is appreciative of the new intros. Take good care Jim
Lovely job Mark. You make it all look so easy, even when working in your small workshop. I wish I could complete my projects in as little time as it takes you. 👍
Thanks Alan. It’s not about how long , it’s more about the pleasure we get from just working on a project. Just focus on being with each moment then it takes care of its self. Stay well. Mark
Neat work. Nice outcome. My in-the-head naming was carcass connector block, coming across them in flat-pack kitchen cabinets. Getting a sense of the design-and-build way you work within client budgets. Nice little room.
It’s always working with a client and within their budget. I guess we all have a way we work. Mine is how I was taught and trained many years ago. Budget has a lot to do with the materials you work with and then what you can do. I’m always trying to offer that bespoke service.
Nice job Mark looks good. I like your new intro very welcoming. It seamed to come in around mid November may be wrong. But I think your well-being videos don't have it which I think is a nice touch too it differentiates between the two. .having said that I do like both a friend of mine is going through a rough patch at the moment and it helps me focus a bit better. Thanks Steve Australia.
Thanks Steve. Yes my intros came in about that time. Always looking to add little improvements. The wellbeing videos have their own intro outro. As you say it makes a distinction. So pleased they help. Hope your friend gets well soon. Mark
Really lovely job mate. As ever, you make it look so easy, which is an inspiration. I admit to a bit of fast-forwarding on this one though, evidently my attention span is shrinking... Happy New Year and look forward to all you do in 2023! Cheers.
Thank you this was a hard build which took a long full week. I was up against a deadline. I think lots of us do a bit of fast forwarding on longer videos.😃 Happy new year.
Hey Mark.. Happy New (and prosperous) Year. Modesty Blocks were used /Invented to attach plywood panels in front of '60s/ '70s desks due to the mini skirt fashion. The half block is from the original knockdown block which was two blocks connected together with a 1/4 inch bolt so you could easily dismantle (usually office cabinets) to move to a new department. Some more useless information for you. Greetings from Weston super Mare....... Bob.
Love your knowledge on these blocks, great info on them. I used to use them to make kitchens back in the early eighties. We had boxes and boxes of them at the workshop. We just called them half blocks. From my seaside town to yours. Mark
Top job Mark, love the variety of the work you do. Love it 🤩

Amazing mark.. fantastic job, yes always worth fighting through the illness 💪👍
It took 3weeks for this cold and chest infection to be gone. I’m glad I kept going now but it was quite rough at times.

Nice job Mark, have you got one of those 6mm grooving blades in your Dewalt table saw?
No I haven’t. I should get one
@@KAPWoodworkandbuilding me too, I’ve got one in my Amazon wish list.
well done is it your full time job
Yes it is . I also do the odd day teaching mental health wellbeing freelance for a company.
@@KAPWoodworkandbuilding you’re always so upbeat and positive, I’d definitely watch a UA-cam series on mental well-being.
Happy new year 🎉
Nice work. Bet the materials weren’t cheap.
Thanks. Materials are still going up as of the new year.
The damp is worrying me Mark.
👍
