i just bought this case in the copper color and I think it will be great for my needs, and I am a light packer. I wanted a quality hardshell suitcase and this one fits the bill for me.,
not all bodies can safely/easily/comfortably carry backpacks. plenty of reasons why this might be a good fit for someone who isn't you, and that's actually okay.

calpak carry on hardside suitcase was TRASH for me. fell apart on first trip. will never again trust this company.
