Young Lady, you spoke my feelings about buying look alike before spending money on the designer to sit on my closet shelf ( been there and done that too many times) Thank you , and I just subscribed to your channel, love your reviews and research *jklux*
Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the *jklux* is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.
I’m completely sold on Fleuron! their mini Swann bag is so cute 😍 I also love that they use full-grain leather, that’s always something I look for. Thanks for sharing these lesser known brands!
These famous brand capitalists take note of people’s comparison mentality. It’s not uncommon for ladies to buy bags easily because they don’t have money to buy them. Only by setting the threshold and having to go through so much hard work to get the bags can people feel valuable. special value. The dopamine threshold of rich people can no longer be satisfied by normal consumption. *gtdupe*
I love learning about the history of the brand, and knowing where the materials came from and where the production took place is such an important aspect to me. I think we have gotten used to accepting a brand label over the entire supply chain behind it, thankfully that is changing, which is great for us as customers, but also gives smaller family owned brands a piece of the market. I loved all the bags but I have to admit I'm sold on the limited edition bags from RSVP, I browsed their website and loved the Batman - what a fun name and interesting bag!
Thank you for talking about comfort and the ease of adjusting the strap! A lot of bags these days are a fuss and can't be changed after you leave the house. As someone with chronic illness being able to easily change how I wear my bag at any time is incredibly important. Love that the Fauvette bag uses one strap which is super functional/accessible not to mention the gorgeous texture and feminine hardware. Basile Paris is also lovely.
I’m always amazed how most brands dont design their bags to change the strap easily. Especially when they provide two separate straps - who is going to bother with that?! 😅 glad the video was helpful 🤍
Been eyeing the Guibert Allure bag for a while now😍 I believe it is such an elegant, super well-made bag. Did you do anything to the strap so that the bag would fall just slightly above your waist? Does the magnetic closure hold up well when the bag happens to be full? TIA for answering and your tile🤗
Your Polene video was so useful. Love how you highlight lesser known brands. I recently asked for a Beara Beara one for my birthday and omg it's gorgeous and so much more affordable than some more well known brands. Even though I was worried it was legit before getting it!
So glad it was helpful! I have heard of Beara Beara, they actually reached out to me a while ago to do a review of one of their bags! Good to hear you like yours, I’ll have to see if I can review one after all.
I use my *gtdupe* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. But I do buy *jklux* occasionally of the styles that I really like. I truly appreciate your comparisons here, which have helped me make a decision about a couple for which I was on the fence. I'll be pulling the trigger now. Thanks for this and your humor.
Hi Katie, I really enjoy your content! I have the Fauvette and have been eyeing on the Fleuron ever since I saw your unboxing video. : ) May I ask about the lovely burgundy sweater you are wearing?
@@katie_louise Thank you so much Katie !❤ It actually doesn't surprise me because I have been eyeing on that exact AM sweater for quite some time after I started to search for a burgundy sweater. The price point have just been a bit of a gasp for me.. 😅
@@satulindroth1910yeah I know it’s really expensive 🥲 you definitely dont need to spend that much on a cashmere sweater. Although, if you did want to treat yourself, it is really lovely. I think I had a 15% off code when I got mine which helped a bit 😅
The Fauvette bag is stunning, definitely my favourite. It looks classy and very special at the same time and the strap is really nice. Besides, I am looking already for a while for a bigger bag that fits a smaller laptop for the office. Are there brands you would recommend?
Mine too! I love my OLEADA laptop bag, fits a 14-inch laptop. If you’re interested check out my recent pack with me video, I have a pretty good discount code atm too 😊
Hi, I have been following you for now I think 6 months. I am a Norwegian girl that lives in France. I have the Fauvette Adele bag in the color Bordeaux, and I totally love it. The brand is still not that famous yet in France, so I still get questions when I wear it. I want to buy a black croco bag, but I am debating if I buy the same modelle in black or the new Sezane Claude is black croco design 😅❤
just had a response from them (so quick!) they confirmed it can't be used while the Black Friday sale is ongoing. Once the sale has finished, the code will reactivate. Hope that helps!
I've never heard of Fauvette before so looks like that'll be my next Google search 🤫 [Edited] Katie, could you elaborate on how Fauvette differs from the Sézane Classic Milo?
They are stunning bags! The Fauvette is smaller than the classic milo, and doesn’t have an separation inside unlike the milo which is split into three compartments. The leather on the Fauvette is more hardwearing and wont scratch like the Sézane one. I think the flower clasp is a lot prettier than the Sézane clasp too! And the strap on the Fauvette is much easier to adjust from crossbody to shoulder. As you can probably tell I’m converted to the Fauvette now, it’s definitely my favourite 🤍
@@katie_louise which would you say can carry more? I'm seriously considering on getting the Fauvette in brown croc instead of the Classic Milo in the brown croc. The difference in the interior is an important consideration though
@hijlaa I’d say the Sézane can carry more - its wider than the Fauvette but they are about the same height and depth :) I’d test out the capacity for you but I’m on holiday at the moment! Can always do a comparison next week when I’m back if you are still deciding
Thank you so much for showing these beautiful bags. I feel the same with Polene these days. I have one, and I think, although I also love their other styles, I will not buy another one. I see them everywhere… and the quality decreased.
I totally agree! We are spoilt for choice with so many gorgeous small brands, I’d so much prefer to buy from them. Especially now Polene has been bought out by LVMH - I’d rather not give their CEO anymore of my money 😅 thanks for watching! 🤍

The MOMCOCO’s Barbie Pink Chanel is fabulous!
Katie, thank you for finding quality products to review over a range of products. Really appreciate learning the history and your take on the product.

That burgundy sweater paired with the brown pants and camel bag looks so nice... Such beautiful, rich, autumnal tones!

All these bags are so beautiful! What can fit into the zipped compartment of the Fauvette bag? I'm lusting over the croco burgundy one...

I love the Guibert bag! It is my favorite. Please let us know when you can how easy the bag is to wear 😊. How is the magnetic closure?
It’s a sturdy magnetic closure, pretty easy to use and very secure! The strap is easy to adjust too. It’s lovely! ❤
Aaaa love Fauvette 😍 and yours is SO stunning!!
Awh thank you!! I actually discovered them via your video 😂
My favourite is the Fauvette, what a bag ! ❤
It’s my favourite too!
They are all so beautiful it’s hard to choose 😀
Haha tell me about it 🤭
Hi Katie, I really enjoy your content! I have the Fauvette and have been eyeing on the Fleuron ever since I saw your unboxing video. : ) May I ask about the lovely burgundy sweater you are wearing?

No expiry date, at least not in the near future. Thanks for watching ❤

The Fauvette one is calling to me 😭 For my lifestyle my priority should be getting a nicer backpack, but I can always dream
Haha I get that, I’m always so reluctant to buy the purely practical items 😂
For Basile, I put the Pochette Apollon in first and then added the the code KATIELOUISE but it isn't working for me.
I've just asked the brand to let me know if it's expired or should still be working. Will update you when I hear back!

I'm really sad, because i wanted to buy the RSVP suede bag to match it with my new Valeria boots and now it's out of stock :(
Noooo :(
I’m on hunt for an everyday but still nice looking zip top cross body bag, it seems like an impossible mission atm 😢
Yeah there really aren’t many with zips! I’ll have a look around and see if I can find any xx
@@katie_louiseI’m considering the Soeur Cheri, it’s not fold over but doesn’t have a zip, so not as secure as I’d like, but I’m tempted..
I just ordered a burgundy Fauvette bag a few days ago. Cannot wait to get it.
Oh amazing! I’m sure you’ll love it 🥰

However these bags has 0% resale value. Waste of money
Not true but I’m not buying them to resell anyway. Most designer bags don’t have any better resell value and cost a lot more
