I don't think I ever saw that opening segment. People tend to forget that X-Play was actually pretty goofy throughout, but it didn't go full on darker humor until when G4 took over. There's a reason why people even mistake Adam and Morgan as comedians.
Skit: Going to Work Preview: Onimusha Blade Warriors Commercial: Rise of Honor What, you haven't played that?: The Legacy of Kain Series Shenmue Commercial: N-Gage Red Faction Splinter Cell James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing (GameBoy Advance) 3 out of 5 + Good story for James Bond + Style points to spend + Good controls - Graphics can get muddy - Driving controls Preview: Desert Rats vs Afrika Korps.
Shenmue 3 did eventually come out, but the results were mixed. Some people loved it, other people hated it. Fans who loved it are hoping for Shenmue 4. I was obsessed with Shenmue I & II when I was in High School.
I respect how ambitious the first shenmue was, but they shot themselves in the foot by barely adapting to modern gaming standards. At this point, shenmue should be an anime or manga. The story is not compelling enough to warrant more releases if they’re going to stick with dated gameplay elements. I want this series to succeed, but they’re not exactly doing any favors.
Shenmue II was originally going to release on the Dreamcast in North America, but it was moved to the Xbox strictly in a political move because Peter Moore was going for a high ranking position at Microsoft.
"Adam, are you covered in bum pee *AGAIN?"*
They sure don't make review shows like they used to lol, this is true quality

@ I actually enjoyed g4 xplay. Until 2008 when it became a serious review show.
This brings back memories. Ah yes when life was simple.
3:36 hahaha! 17 years later and Ming Na is still a relevant obscure nerd reference!
I like how they roasted Mystic Dragon9 at the end lol
good ep from the opening to the hobo pee to the credits where Adam pulls out Morgan's controller
The funniest intro ever on X-Play🤣🤣🤣
Love spooie
Thanks!
Excellent
Holy crap, Shenmue and Legacy of Kain... They both deserved better!
Oh god here comes the LA move
Legendary intro!
Adam still had hair and Morgan dressing a lil more risque

And I absolutely loved it, but I understand the mixed feelings, the ENTIRE series has always been mostly that since day one

I didn't know Morgan lived near the Full House house.
Onimusha blade warriors for the ps2 is a excellent game. 😀👍🎮
I looked up delmar street on google street view, it still looks the same.
28:23 blooper when she reads the fan letter
I love xplay but the shenmue recommendation is just bad.
Here come all the people who could only chose one videogame for their birthdays. VVVVVVVVV
