Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We had a great trip as well. You were smart not to do Gaurdians with your anxiety, it’s not really the screens it’s the spins and the up and downs. It is an amazing ride but it’s a bit much for me now, maybe in my younger years I would be ok, I can only do it once and that was pushing it. You had an excellent wait time for Tron, my husband and daughter waited 2 hours, I sat at the train station waiting for a seat for fireworks while they waited in line for tron, they hated it. Hated that I was alone and hated the wait time and Tron was just meh for them. The new Genie plus/lightning lane is a joke, we refuse to pay as well and haven’t last year or this year, arrive early, do the things, take an afternoon break and resume at night. We loved it! AND the wait times were NEVER what they said, we timed all of them and they were always much shorter, I think they raise those wait times to encourage people to buy they lightning lane.. just a thought. I’m not a fan of all of Disneys changes, but we as a family did what we enjoyed and remembered over the years and made new memories. I’m glad you had a great vacation!

Hi Ann! We just bought tickets to Mickey not so scary Halloween party! Looking forward to going to Disney when park is not crowded. We have never bought tickets for special event before. We live in Florida so it’s just 1 hourish away for us. Only disappointment is that Splash mountain is currently closed for renovations, it’s our favorite ride. We have not been to Disney in about 7 years. They say you can get on the most all rides in like 4 hours compared to all day at park on a regular day. Not sure if I’ll ride Tron or not?

Hi my friend!! We have enjoyed MNSSHP in the past- we went in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019! You can get in as early as 4pm, and really, as the night goes on the ride wait times become minimal! Have a great time!!

I was under the impression that there will be no more splash mountain.

@@suebray2839 Well they are going to call it something else but still having the ride part of it as far as I know, they are changing out the characters and scenery on the ride to be from the movie Princess and the Frog.
Here is what I found in google:
Are they still going to change Splash Mountain?
Splash Mountain has permanently closed at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. While the structure and ride path will remain the same, the story will be changed to and themed to The Princess and the Frog Disney Animated movie based on New Orleans. There are a few reasons for this change.

We are just leaving our trip now! Wonderful video! It really has changed a lot. I do have to ask…but feel free not to answer. With your anxiety have you ever looked into DAS? My husband has PTSD and qualifies for it. It really helps him enjoy and manage the parks.

I have looked into it, but have never gone through the interview process. That’s a great suggestion!!! Have a wonderful time!

After what happened with the food anaphylaxis death associated with a WDW restaurant I would say be very careful of what you eat there. And carry that Epi-Pen and a medical ID. Always!
