- Some Vancouverites are trying to bring basketball back to the city. VANBACK is looking for 15 people to pledge $200 million each to bring an NBA team to Vancouver. Monika Gul has the story.

Vancouver needs a baseball team. But, no matter the sport, Vancouver needs to commemorate all their fentanyl drug use. Call the team the Vancouver Junkies. Here are some alternatives: Fenties, the Injectors (like needle users), Back-ally Poopers, Urban Campers, Tent-dwellers, Score (as in score some fentanyl), You decide! What's a good team name? They should have safe injection sites at the new venue. You can order popcorn, hotdogs and a safe injection needle kit.

Unfortunately for u guys we would have to get our SuperSonics back here in Seattle first before the league would even begin to think of expanding back over the border. Your next hurdle would be competing with mexico city.
Sorry I loved the idea but realistically players won’t even play in Toronto… best to back the Seattle SuperSonics
if big name free agents are not willing to play for cities means they should not have an NBA team, then you would agree with me that the Sacramento Kings, Portland Trailblazers, Charlotte Hornets, OKC Thunder, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic and the Memphis Grizzlies. All of these teams historically have had trouble signing “big name” free agent superstar players, particular in comparison to the big markets in the NBA such as the LA teams and Boston Celtics

Isn’t that far. Me and lil bro go to blazers game 1 or 2 games. We live 15 minutes away from the US border. I got to go to a blazer game in 2018 when they came to Vancouver. It would be good to get a team Vancouver I could see the blazers playing in Vancouver.
