I did a few mooring and jetty shifts with Marine & Port Services from Pembroke Dock on the river in the late 70s when that place was Amoco Milford Haven. The whole place is just a tank farm now, Esso refinery ... gone, an LNG terminal stands in its place, Gulf refinery.... now also an LNG plant, only one refinery left, it used to be Texaco... The oil industry left us behind, and in another decade or so LNG will probably do the same.
