While I do absolutely love my K-91, and the better DPM is nice, these Italian mediums just offer such incredible flexibility in terms of shutting down a dangerous enemy thanks to the better burst damage and that can allow you to pull off some incredibly aggressive plays
Is it really enjoyable? I'm struggling to get Pantera and can't wait till I buy it. Just P.43 ter left and I wonder if it is any better than P.43 bis, which wasn't a great tank, but wasn't a bad one either.
Definitely, i think the only real flaw is the size of the map. They kept it the same size as the original, but decked out the environment for high tier plays. The fact that a single light always has, at minimum, 50% of the map lit should already be a sign that high tiers should not be on a tiny map. The whole purpose of the original map’s size was to accommodate the minuscule VR of low tiers.
I fell in love with the AMX-13-105. In my 4 years of playing WoT I never got a light tank line passed tier 6 then recently for some odd reason I began my next patch of tank lines to work through and started with this line, I worked to the AMX-12-T and once I got to this tank I was blown to bits at how fun they were. Needless to say I worked from bottom to top of this tank line in a week and a half and have nearly 100 games with a 72% win rate...
If you include initial damage(because most of the time when you first engage, you will have a full clip), the progetto has an insane amount of dpm. Which puts it above all the other mediums. The fact that 7 shots will kill most heavies and 6 shots will kill most mediums, and they already have 4 of those shells loaded, makes progetto head and shoulders above the rest of the tanks in 1v1s. And it still dominates in team battles too of course.
Seems like the Italian autoloaders are excellent in the direct fire support role. Despite the low overall do, they seem to be good for mopping up and/or causing a tank to burn their repair kits to stay out of trouble. I can see the versatility of this being a factor in a fight. God help us all if they get a dose bump.
It is though. It was significantly nerfed last patch. If you play competitively in any capacity, you'll no that very few 268s are used anymore. Even in public battles they are much more rare than they used to be.
Nikola Radosav it is almost balanced, it has shitty cupola and lower lower plate now. my 4005 can cheese the bottom plate, and my tier 8 premium heavies can go trough the cupola. i have no complaints
Alexander Stoyanov QB has talked about 430u and the Japanese heavies in both his videos and his streams. Idk what you're on. But none of those tank were close to being as broken as the 268 v4 so I can understand him giving it more attention

Hehe. ‘It’s dpm can be so low’. . Not if you really love to use the auto-loader feature, I suspect, using all 4 shells at once. Then the downside is the slow reload of the drum.
The dpm isnt all. You would actually want the true avarage done damage per minute in a game. What I mean is for example in this game you fired 36 shells total with 360 aplpha = 12 960 possible avarage damage in ~13mins. So what you really needed was only 1000 dpm. Of course there wont be a game where you would actually be shooting the whole time, but that also means that a tank like Progetto can use the extra time to reload. So more often you will be able to shoot all the shells with out a drawback. Also Progetto is just so powerfull when it can lower the enemy tank hp first and then burst it to death. Its just so versatile and can attack more situations than autoloaders or single shot guns.
The reason why 268v4's win ration is not dropping is when you have that kind of impeneterable front it doesnt matter if you have bad gun statistics you can carry your gun to the faces of your enemies quite safely.

this tank is fun to play becouse it has the best penetration of the autoloader of all medium tanks. its like leopard 1 with 4x shots, it has insane dispersion, and gun depression. Its not surprise, his little brother Progetto 46 is best premium tank. I make more damage in tier 8 like in tier X mostly
I reckon the Czech meds should have been like these Italian meds, that 20 second reload for 1.3k burst (Debatably better than the StageII) on a tank as fast and flexible as the TVP just made T8/9/10 balancing even worse. The french Autoloaders sacrificed a lot for much worse burst fire, but then the US Autos came in stronger, and the Czech Autos even stronger. So annoying.
OFC his new favorite tank is the NEW OP flavor of the month tank. For a WWII tank combat game...there sure are a lot of tanks that never existed during WWII in the game.

9:55 . I'm pretty sure that HEAT does not have ANY normalization and DO NOT have armor over-matching. you should have used APCR which DOES have armor over-matching AS WELL AS normalization. Try not to mess this kind of stuff up, Quicky, newbies memories the stuff that you say ^-^ (edit): after listening to it again, quicky might have been referring to the armor thickness being less than the penetration AT 80 degrees, my bad if so. bu this information is useful none-the-less
my favorite in WOT is, for premium the Progetto M35 mod 46, non premium, well it's shared between the Marder 38T the AMX ELC Bis and the Luchs (and Ferdinand/Emil I but well i prefer the Nashorn in german TD's so i guess i will love the Rhm-B WT ... )
They would be great if it didnt take so long to move up the tiers. I cant stand playing this game enough to grind from the Pantera to the Standard B much less beyond that.
M. Redleg i agree. Since progetto 46 release i saved 700k free xp to go directly to standard b. Progetto 46, standard b and progetto 65 are really jewels of this tech tree.
I will NEVER buy another fake pixel tank with real money until a large number of issues are fixed and even then, probably not. Id rather buy motorcycle parts which can actually be used in real life.

Yea but if enemies come rushing at your position you still would prefer to be in auto-reloader instead of auto-loader. Downsides of auto-reloader are hardly ever noticed because you rarely use 100% of your dpm in standard tanks, or 100% of your clip in auto-loaders.
Isn't it that way so the reload time differs for each shell you "put" in the mag, rather then for the whole magazine. I think you miss explained that Mr. Qb!
Why is DPM so important? When you are in city maps you need high alpha damage, so you don't need to peek behind a corner for too long and get shot all the time. On the open field, in my expirience, it is rare that you can really have a full minute of constantly shoting at people. So while you have this italien autoloader I would argue, that the effective damage per minute might be one of the highest in the game, since you can put many rounds into enemy vehicles when they show and then bypass the time when nothing happens reloading. Sometimes, sure you can whack enemies left and right but I didn't expirience those games quite often. So maybe it would be interesting to know, what the effective damage per minute would be, that you can actually use to put shells into the enemy.
I watch QB enjoying playing high tier tanks in this game, and I'm over here regretting my decision to go down the german e-100 line. The irrelevance of both the E50 and E75 in the game nowadays just makes it painful to play this game.
Quicky you should get yourself a ST-I. I am sorry but you would have way more fun with this tank then with your progetto. BTW I got a replay on wot replays with 7k dmg in my ST-I. The question is if you could beat my performance? Search for playername "blaaa" on EU. 👋
Yeah, it’s a good mechanic but there’s too many of these bloody auto loaders in the game now. I reckon it promotes camping and stifles close action gameplay. Even if you’re top teir, getting caught mildly alone against a pair of autoloaders can mean a fast death, and even TD backup struggles to counteract them.

Yesterday a game I did with 268 4, I did 5k damage bouncing 7k damage on Paris...AFTER being 'nerfed' it's still a monster.

This tank might even be OP, I have like 3.5k average on my tier X’s, but on the progetto 65 I have 4.6k dmg average after 23 battles...
But how does it have anything to do with how OP this tank is, if you're just succesful with it...
I tested the Progetto 65 on the ct server and I'm working my way to it on the live server I'm half Italian and I love the tank :D
