Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

Confession: I’m a middle aged man and I was underwhelmed by the first two prequel movies... mainly because I had other expectations of what they should be. The clones had zero affect on me. Some years later Hasbro started releasing some really cool OT stuff I thought I might like and so I picked up the Clone to Stormtrooper Evolution pack.. admittedly for the super dirty Sandtrooper.. but it had two really cool clones as well. I started playing the old Battlefront and I loved playing as the clones. They slowly but surely won over my psyche. Then The Clone Wars dropped and I was totally captivated. It’s been a long bromance, but now I prefer the prequels over everything and clones are top of the heap for me!
It baffles me that companies didn't just NOT make clones post-ROTS/CW. But they totally dropped the ball and barely did ANY Clone Wars S7 merch. What did come out, was releases nearly a year AFTER. I missed 99% of the golden years of Clone figures due to money being tight, but I can't imagine what it's like for kids now. I guess there may be some comfort in knowing that in 20 years clones may end up like OT characters now
Much the same as you, my life kinda blipped into consciousness around 4 or 5 years old and that's where the memories began to become vivid and tangible. You're two years older than me, so this time for me was smack dab in the revenge of the sith era. Nothing looked cooler than the lava themed flaming box art with the menacing Darth Vader helmet in the background. I had no idea what a star war was at the time but I was there for it. I saw the clone troopers in a toy magazine or something and I assumed they were a white Darth Vader, no clue who that was, only that other people had mentioned the name and that he was really cool. I loved Buzz Lightyear at the time and so I naturally gravitated toward armored figures with lasers, and I picked up my first Star Wars toy (if memory serves) with my now late grandmother (God rest her soul) from the now late Toys R Us (God rest the soul of Jeffery Giraffe as well). The first one I had was an attatix AT-RT Walker, still have it to this day, albeit yellowed and with the driver ripped off the top to play with separately. The next one was the 3.75 AT-TE Gunner figure who I also still have, though he's missing every part but his legs and biceps (hoping to breath life into him as a custom someday). My mom took me to blockbuster and we rented A New Hope and for the first time we watched Star Wars as a family in the living room of our trailer house that night. I assumed the Stormtroopers were good guys because I loved them so much and I was so excited to see what I thought was the toy I had in my hands in a "grown up movie." Once the hurricanes blew through Florida in the months following, we hunkered down at Grandma's and my uncle brought the rest of the films (except for RotS which wasn't out on dvd yet) and we watched them all there, the 20 or so family members. I had never loved a movie saga so much before and it immediately replaced all love for other entertainment at the time. I was obsessed. Every toy from then on (mostly) was Star Wars, be it Lego, 3.75" figures, or just random kiddy scaled big figs or other Star Wars items I was hooked. Once the clone wars came out, it was only about clone troopers from then on. I've been collecting my whole life and while it's not nearly as big a collection as I'd like to have someday, I'm proud to have all of my childhood troopers displayed in my humble abode. There's really something to be said about how these toys brought other little boys together back in the day. We all wanted to play with them even if we weren't fans, they were just so cool and fun to play with. I'd bring a few to the school playground now and again and made life long friendships because of them. It's not just a hobby, it's a love of something special. the memories that were made. There will always be something like the clone troopers in the lives of kids, but I really hope the clones themselves live on to make kids happy for at least a few generations. As the first world becomes more and more digitally oriented, I wonder what will replace kids meeting face to face to play with their favorite toys, and the thought saddens me. This stuff is important and formative for kids, really sticks with us, even if it's silly in hindsight. I hope more kids like Nolan are out there to really keep the love of these troopers alive! They mean something different to a lot of people.
Can't wait till my Fives, Echo, and Umbra Operative figures arrive in the mail. My sister got them for me, and I'm so thankful she did.
My dads a Star Wars collector so I’ve been into Star Wars figures my whole life. Man I remember us going to midnight madness for Revenge of the Sith in 2005. They had dozens of new figures that were all like 5$ each. Those were the days.
As a kid collector I love clone troopers I own some black series and I have some 3 inch ones I love them all. Also fun fact your the person that got me into collecting clones and collecting overall so thank you for the inspiration

I gotta tell you these clone figures were some of the best things to happen to mankind.
Your story is weirdly similar to mine, the AOTC clone pilot was also my first clone trooper, I had the kashyyyk trooper, and I also had a flea market down in Kentucky that I went to religiously with my grandfather every other week where I also bought star wars stuff. I would beg my parents to get the same clone trooper I already had 5 of from the store as a kid. Thanks for bringing the memories back man. Love your channel. And clone wars Commander Cody (and rex) were two of my absolute favorites
Remember when Star wars have like, 3 or 2 shelves of their own? But now, they barely got a shelf for themselves.
I remember there were SOO Many clone troopers in stores. I also remember always wanting to get a Removable helmet. But, I wish I didn't have to lose them. Since I did remember having a lot of clones.
I don't know why Disney wanted to forget the Prequels and Original Trilogy and only focus on the Sequel Trilogy. Knowing that people don't give a shit.
Honestly, I still buy the stormtroopers. But never cared about the other ones.

Hasbro should know that Producing Clone troopers especially 3.75 will sell hotcakes.
I know they're releasing new Clones troopers. But, they're just Commanders. What about a new mold for Regs and legions? I don't wanna pay 40$ on a 17-year-old figure.
Yet, Hasbro still mass-produced the Sequel Trilogy and never got the money back from these toys.
I missed out on alot of Clone wars vehicles n stuff. Especially getting a lot of clones. But I did rebuy the 501st, Shock, Airborne (like my UA-cam Account), and recently Commander Cody. (The one that barely has possibly.)
I still own some clones but most were Phase 1 Clone wars type of figures. Yet, none of them were yellowed. Surprisingly.
My only wish is that Hasbro and Disney start giving a shit about Prequels and the Original trilogy and started mass producing them to be on shelves on Store. Just like the good times. But, not only Star wars was having this problem.
Transformers have the same fate. With Duplicates of unsold figures...
What happen to you Hasbro?
I believe the same clone pilot that came with the gunship turret was my first clone as well. I remember one random day when I was six years old and Attack of the Clones had come out I woke up and my dad randomly told me to go downstairs to my toy room. I went there and he had the Geonosis Arena play set, the republic gunship, and that clone waiting for me in the packaging. I didn’t even ask for it and had no idea how much I’d love them. My Dad was an air marshal and would randomly leave Star Wars toys behind for me when he’d be gone. Sometimes he’s hide them behind the cushions in the couch for me to find and every Christmas he (or Santa) would hang them in the tree on like you do with candy canes on top of the gifts I’d find underneath.

I have been a collector since the age of 5, and I am a teen which means when I got into Star Wars, Clone Wars was still being aired, and for my 6th Birthday (As one of my presents) I got seasons 1-2 of clone wars, and every sick day off school I would slap on a couple episodes on my TV, so Clone Wars does mean a lot to me, and as I watched some of my favorite films like "T2 Judgement day" and other Sci fi films. As much as I love them they wont beat Star Wars/Clone Wars.
Really hope black series Jesse will be revealed soon, and hope Neyo and Bacara happen.
What a huge collector I used to have a big collection but not as big as yours. But however I sold most of them except the ones I really liked just to make more money. But also I started collecting more clones now just cause

As a teenager collector it’s really cool to hear your clone story I love the clones so much there absolutely my favorite thing in Star Wars I think hasbro should definitely make more clones I remember when I was young I got my first 2009 captain rex from eBay and I’ve been collecting ever since
I’m from Cincinnati and some of my favorite childhood memories are going to trader’s world or passing it on the way to Wright Pat and passing touch down Jesus.
While I'm not a kid anymore, I didn't get into the Clone Wars animated series until last year. Recently, I was lucky enough to stumble across a handful of well-loved animated clone figures, and something just clicked for me. I absolutely adore this line, but, to your point, it breaks my heart that I know I won't be able to get any of my favorite characters, or build certain battalions up because the market has had such an explosion and the prices are just too far out of my league.
Very cool video , very relatable as well, as a kid I use to love the 33/4 figures of course but after getting into skateboarding I stoped collecting toys at age 12 but now at 24 I’m back into it I’m a avid black series collector but I love the scale of 33/4 and the vintage collection is great latly! It's insane to think that the Prequels and later both Clone Wars series revitalized Hasbro's 3.75 inch lines and here we are in 2022 stuck in Clone Trooper limbo. I refuse to believe that Hasbro people aren't looking at eBay, Mercari, and Craiglist prices and seeing that they're missing out in potential sales. I remember starting off in 2002 with the pre-posed troopers and those larger booklets that were starting to show off the Super Articulated 2003 Clone. It was an amazing time to be collecting Star Wars for all fans. That magic carried up until the Disney purchase for the most part. I remember getting email updates about lines being cancelled and the "death" of TVC. Was so disturbed that I didn't even touch Black Series until we got more Clone Wars figures in that line. Absolutely no reason why Hasbro has neglected the troop builder that would fly off shelves because collectors and kids to this day want to get their hands on these fantastic characters.

It seems like they are finally figuring it out with all these clones that have been released in tvc, but you can still never find clones in store or any tvc figures for that matter in store, only online. Not to mention they are 16.99 a figure now 🙄

Love the video! It’s funny, I owe my obsession with clone troopers mostly in part to my daughter’s love for them. She got me to rewatch the entire Clone Wars series with her. But, this time around trying to pay special attention to the clones rather than the A-list characters. I was blown away by their character arcs! After that, I was hooked! I’ve always loved Stormtroopers ever since I first saw them onscreen in ‘77! Clone troopers are like a better version of stormtroopers (but, with better aim 😂)! And they’re armor and armor designs are so flipping cool! Plus, they’re goo guys! - we’ll, until a certain order comes through. Love the channel. Great to share my passion with another fan! 👍

Love hearing your story and seeing how far you've come, man! Not sure that you'll remember me, but we used to talk a bit here on YoutTube back in the day around 2008-2009. (Back then my channel was called clonecommando38). Fond memories of those days watching sithlord229 (I think he inspired just about every collector on this site!), booting up Battlefront and Republic Commando, playing with our ROTS and CW toys, and being part of this cool community online. For whatever reason, collecting clones really has been its own special journey for a lot of us and something that brings folks together. Kids today deserve those kinds of experiences too.
I have been following this channel for a long time. Now I’m a black series collector and I used to buy only one of each figure, when I saw this channel I started army building. I now have quite the collection/army. I’m thinking about starting my own channel at some point. Just not sure how
Started with the clone wars, but after some events in my life I ended up losing them. Going back and collecting them is one of the best Joy's in my life. Also as someone who collected when they were super young and now still technically being a kid, kids buy toys and its honestly awful that the experiences we had growing up others cant have.
All kids wanna do nowadays is be on their tablets and computers and play that one RIDICULOUS game called robotex or robex or sum SH** like that!!! Yea man I remember when I was 8 yrs old it was all about toys r us for me and the many different action figures… I’m so glad I own probably 90% of every 3 inch clones ever made and much of my stuff is still in their original packagings…. I wish it could go back to toys r us days!!!cool video man..

I remember watching your every clone trooper series’s 3/4 years ago which got me into starting a clone collection obviously now that’s a lot harder with the prices but I now have a couple phase 2 troopers a few 501st/212th figures a spec ops clone trooper and with my favorite being arc trooper blitz.
It’s like for me I been a collecting Nascar diecast since I was kid cause of my dad. And as I have gotten older my stores hardly get them anymore. And also I been getting into the bigger diecast and even other kinds of racing diecast. And even some of the more expensive high in ones to.
I remember that i grew up relatively poor, and i got a 41st elite clone trooper from the clone wars. He was my favorite action figure. Fast forward so many years later i still have that boi and his paint is almost all gone.
It's a sign that you treated that clone well, and played hard with him (along with hopefully creating many good memories)
I wish sometimes that they bring back The Clone Wars collection line of figures and Saga collection. It was sad to see it all go in 2012 and I would love If there's was more of it, they left out so much stuff and so many awesome characters that don't never get a official figure, like so many different kinds of clone troopers like Captain Keeli and interesting designs that didn't make it to the store shelves...

I made the decision to stick with 3.75, I won’t buy a black series because I know I’ll have to buy more. So I stuck with 3.75 and I do have a very nice clone trooper display
That's is one awesome and amazing story you have there my good friend about your journey of the clonetroopers. And you are very right clonetroopers these days being super hard to find and you made some good points about at look at the 501st battle pack for example when that battle pack first came out everyone was happy and took about a few months for people to get them after they came out due to them being all sold out to new 3.75 named clones where you can't very find them in stores now

Gree being in your Top 5 Black Series clone figures is *fascinating* to me because *for me* he's easily and without contest the worst one in my collection. He comes with aaaall the cardinal sins of Black Series collecting:
o) Can't stand for shit because of his wobbly gummi bear legs,
o) Can't kneel worth a shit *or* hold his binoculars up to his visor because of his old-man articulation, which is damning considering the man has like five seconds of screen time in this outfit and those are the only somewhat iconic actions he takes sort of "holding a rifle" and "dieing";
o) He's got *nobody* to pose him with (which i realize is not the figure's fault but come on, no Prequel Yoda, no Kashyyyk Troopers; what kind of scene is he supposed to be part of?),
o) His head sits on an immediate ball joint without any forward or backward movement, essentially reducing his ball joint to a swivel
o) And he has no place to store his accessoires meaning his binocs are eventually, *inevitably* going bye-bye down the line...
and on an unfair personal note: i hate his suspenders. WHY does he have suspenders, it's not like he needs them for his leg armor and he's not hauling a backpack around

It’s weird I have a clone trooper I bought when revenge of the sith came out hasn’t yellowed at all but I’ll get brand new clones from that tone never removed from their packaging and they’ll be yellowed badly it’s weird how there’s no consensus on what causes that other than the plastic degrading over time
I got my two quick draw clones when I was a kid off of eBay I think I was maybe 11 or 12 but I am 15 now and i got my tvc 332nd trooper last year but I am happy with my troopers
Not just clonetroopers are expensive, a lot of figures are. To buy some it could be 80$ when was 20$ originally.
I’ve got jabbas palace diorama and it was expensive for a few. I haven’t got some figures yet since so expensive.
It’s probably Disney that doesn’t want to make clone troopers since they are making new shows so want figures for that. About 2000 stores had a lot of figures but now due the internet there is much less.

It’s weird I feel like I’ve just restarted my clone collection, all of my old troopers like my 41st or 327th are long gone til I found an 08 clone wars clone at a flea market made me remember what I had so I got a few black series but they’re impossible to really get my first reg was a KO phase 1 only troopers I held on to were my Lego ones and I started to dip my toes into clone army customs but it’s a bit pricey so it’s been on hold. Now with how exclusive and elusive everything is I dunno where to go now I want to build the collection but just can’t really or at least not easily or consistently 🤷🏻♂️
