I knew of the 90s version which I absolutely loved! We had 2 VHS tapes which had 2 episodes on each of them. I still have them to this day. I swore we had more of them, because there was scenes from the theme song I recognized like I'd seen them before. When was little I didn't even know it was a TV show or even a remake of the original 70s one which I knew nothing about until I was in highschool. I decided one day to type in Land Of The Lost and found out it was an entire series plus a remake and that I could watch the entire thing on UA-cam at that time. I still love it to this day

Absolutely loved this show as an 80s/90s kid - it was the perfect adventure show. I loved that they lived in a treehouse to stay higher than the T-Rex and how crystals could power their flashlights as power sources. I was too into other toy lines to start this one, but it's a really good line and I do have the crystal sword in its box.

I enjoyed the 90s version as well as my little brother. My little brother had the pterodactyl glider and the raft. He also had a couple of the figures. I wish it could of lasted longer than two seasons.

I seen about 5 minutes of the 1991 series. I was in the 5th grade and I spent the night at a friend's house. The next morning his little brother's were watching Saturday morning cartoons. This show came on. I didn't know it was a remake at the time. I wouldn't find that out until sometime in the early 2000's. I didn't know they made action figures either.

the original land of the lost remains the best adaptation of the show. it was my favorite saturday morning show of my youth. i was deep into my 50s and had to huntdown the dvds of that show, that is how big of an impression the show had on me. i remember running across a vhs tape of a few episodes of the reboot in a garage sale. it looked like crap and back into the box of other trash it went. the lack of toys and such for the original show was disappointing. the movie with will ferrell was a slap in the face to my fond memory of this beloved show of my childhood...

I definitely remember having that tree house. Kind of basic, but could be used for many other toy lines and characters. Pretty sure I had the t-rex too, although I don't remember it coming in a box like that.

I saw the original 70s version as a kid. Growing up seeing a family dealing with both dinosaurs and advanced alien pylons was part of my intellectual development, getting exposed to advanced sci-if concepts along-side learning family values. I never knew about the 90s reboot. The 2009 movie struck me as a disservice; I thought it was mocking the original rather than having fun with it, though it did a few things well. I was fine with updated then-realistic dinosaurs rather than foam rubber ones.

Picked up a couple of the figures on clearance at KB for some customs. Would of been nice if they didn't drastically redesign the Sleestaks. Still waiting to this day for some classic Sleestak action fivures.

@That Junkman The character ''Cha-Ka'' from the original tv series was a (Pakuni). A race of primitive Humanoid-like Primates who are indigenous to the Land of the Lost. The ''Sleestaks'' from the early 90s reboot were completely different from the ones form the original (Sid and Marty Krofft) series. The one thing that turned me off about the 1990s ''Land of the Lost'' was that it leaned more towards fantasy. Unlike the original tv series which was more science fiction based. I'm a big fan of the original ''Land of the Lost'', so when I first heard that there was a ''Land of the Lost'' movie coming out, I was thrilled! But then I found out that Will Ferrell, was starring in it... and I was like, no thank you!! But you know? I'm surprised that no one has ever came up with a fan theory about the (Altrusians and Sleestaks)? Let's say something along the lines of the ''Land of the Lost'' is actually a ''Parallel Earth'' ware Dinosaurs never died out. And therefore, allowing a certain species of Dinosaur to evolved into a highly intelligent ''Humanoid'' that became the dominant species. And that the Pakunis were actually (Homo Erectus).

Their dino pal looks like it belongs in that live action dinosaur sitcom from the 90's.
I knew the original from Sat. morning reruns. I like the Will Ferrell movie, it's not some honorable homage to the original but it's fun. Danny McBride is that special spice that makes everything a little better.

what the fuck!, that cheap ass looking remake got a whole line of toys including playsets vehicles and beasts/dinosaurs , when the original kick ass saturday morning show from the 1970s only got 'a bag of crap'- mini dinosaur figurines. in a bag, not even on board. they could have made toys of them the Sleestaks the Pylons, Chaka , Dopey, Alice and Spike? (the Trex) and i would have loved a Lost city playset, even if it was a cardboard backdrop, that city looked epic on tv!

The 90s shows was awful. it was clear it was filmed in a park and they did nothing to make it seem otherwise. The whole tone was wrong. The Porters never seemed to be in the constant danger the Marshalls were. Add in a SUV that never ran out of gas or needed maintenance. The toys weren't much either.
