can you show how to open a local file ,say an image link from Qtextbrowser.Currently i have the link created. But when i clicks on the link image gets opened in Qtextbrowser widget in some other format which is not readable. I need it to be opened in my default web browser

How can I open the link inside the GUI? I mean, I do not want to open the links on standard browser.

Please show us how to open local files such as images etc from QTextBrowser. The image gets opened in the same QTextBrowser in an unreadable format. Prompt help is also welcomed.
