    Nice stuff my friend!
    You mentioned the previous models in the beginning... The 1891 and the 1908 models were 100 mm, and the tools were made of carbon steel. With the model 1951 they switched to 93 mm (like the later Alox size), so it became smaller and lighter, and stainless steel is a big change in my opinion.

      Thanks for watching dude! gotta admit those early models look pretty darn similar, I've never even seen one up close though. My knowledge of pre 60's is pretty limited. I'm definitely thankful for the stainless, I've had a couple old carbon blades that have just turned black... quite a bit or work to make it resemble steel again.
