- Judging by the big numbers of supercars in Malaysia, there is no shortage of wealthy people here. Let me take you and show you where most of the supercars hideout on a duty-free Langkawi Island during the first 5 years when it was purchased new. Basically, to get away with the maximum tax on a brand new car, most supercar owner will age their car for the first 5 years on the island and then pay minimum tax which then allows them to use the car permanently on the mainland. In Langkawi island but all these cars are stored in a storage. Is not open to public unless you are one of the car owner.
