Fab what did I get. Can’t wait to see what you do with it all. The cutting tool had sooo many bad reviews that I didn’t buy one but I think after your little demo, that it takes practice, so might add one to my Christmas list. Thanks Sam xx
Ive had my eye on that Giro cut blade and handle for a while now Sam. So I'm really pleased you've got one and showed us how to use it. I do enjoy fussy cutting myself, but for lager pieces i think it would be a great time saver. Its now added to the dreaded list....book! Who am i kidding. 😉 I enjoy seeing what you've purchased in these 'what did i get' as they give me ideas about whats in the shops. I don't get out shopping much, so its good to see whats out there. Hubby dear is a great shopper, under instruction and i can show him things if i see them. Ha, i think he dreads me watching what you get. 😂 A great haul of things Sam. Looking forward to seeing you use them and to seeing whats in store for us during your tutorials on fb and UA-cam. Thanks for sharing. Xx
So many goodies!!! Sad that there will be no more DaisyMae products. I purchased that cutting thing on Amazon and tried it and was so totally disappointed. Now that I know there are specific ways to use it I will give it another go. I guess there is a lot of practice to getting it right. Thank you for sharing all your new goodies. Love the fabric paper a lot. Really pretty. Cannot wait to see all the new things you make with everything. ❤
@@arletphillips501 thank you. our local walmart used to have replaccent blades for my paper trimmer and foam tape, just basic supplies that i relied on. they have replaced everything with vinyl and cricut machines. i dont order anything on line. so i will see if i have a crreative memories consutant in my area. thank u so much for the tip.
@@suzannegatenby7184 if you go to the CM website you will be able to choose your consultant and you can shop online . I love that they have matching sets of paper and embellishments etc which you can bundle or purchase separately. I find that I save a lot more time doing it thst way so I am not piecemealing a page and then searching stores and then my craft space for it after . They also have a nice cutter with extra decorative blade cartridges which you can interchange which is fun an just a fun option.
I agree Suzanne, so many craft shops have gone because they couldn't compete witb the craft tv channels and online stores. But for me part of the pleasure of card making was going to the shops and talking to other crafters. Even the craft events are as Sam said don't have as many suppliers anymore. A great pity.
I went to the Craft fair at Westpoint in Exeter in September & was very disappointed, it didn't have half the stalls it used to have & some of the things being sold were the same as pre-covid so I've decided to give it a miss for next year at least & hope that it improves. Thanks for showing & explaining the fussy cutting tool, I've been thinking about getting one for a while as I'm one of those that struggle with it. XXX
A lovely haul! Don't feel too bad about there only being one aisle of papercrafts. I'm in Australia and noticed the same thing at our Paper Expo this year. I suspect traders are still wary about COVID
Great haul Sam 🥰 amazing things you got. I always enjoy seeing what you got. Looking forward to seeing your creations ❤️ thanks for sharing and happy crafting Hugs xx
I've never been to a craft show before because I've always thought they would be really expensive, so pleasantly surprised at the bargains you snagged. I've also been looking at the gyro cutter, I may give it a go now. Sam, I have a request, do you have an idea for a bag or box for tubs of chocolates eg. Roses, Quality street, etc? So awkward to gift them x
Hi Sam, Really glad you managed to get some lovely bits & bobs from the craft show Please can you tell me Did you seal your Diamond art butterfly picture ? If not PLEASE can you Recommend something to seal your picture with. THANK YOU I went to the craft show a few years ago & & I totally agree with you like you I was Somewhat disappointed in what was there Sam, I watched your video you done on making a Village advent calendar I thought it turned out so lovely but did I hear you say you have got a little puppy 🐶 if so please can you show your Beautiful little puppy on camera 👍❤️ Lin
I was at NEC craft show on the Thursday. I did get some great bargains but what annoyed me was all the charity chuggers!! There were too many of them and they were too enthusiastic this time. I just want to be left in peace!
We were also a bit disappointed. A lot of the big name suppliers weren't there. Did also get some crystal art Peter rabbit cards,🤣. Have you got a demo making a Xmas stocking as on my list of things to do.
Love the Daisy Mae! Really like the sentiment about snowmen falling from heaven unassembled.
Viewing from the caribbean lovely haul congrats again on your magazine love all u do sam

Hi ! Thanks for sharing. Have you ever been to the paper show at the motor cycle museum? Well worth a trip. X
Wow so much fun and exciting new products can’t wait to see what you do ❤ x
Thanks Sam, when I got mine I thought it was a waste of money, but I will try it again 👏🏻👏🏻
I love seeing the magazines. It takes about 4 months before they’re available in Canada, so it’s nice to see what I have to look forward to.
I was going to ask when will the Made to Surprise be in Canada. 4 months is a long wait. *sigh*. Countdown begins.
Wonderful what did I get Sam, going to check out the gyro cutter. Love the last ever collection from Daisy Mae, did you get the penguins ? Xx
lovely haul there sam I have the little red robin pad too :) xxxxxx
So so sad to hear that there won't be any more daisy mae :(
Interesting to see the tips about Gyro cutter though .
Thanks Sam.
Sadly I missed out but wonderful Sam🥰
So many great finds!
I find paper crafting supplies getting harder to get. Local stores seems to be shifting to other types of crafting.

Sam, I stopped going to the show many years ago because I noticed quite a few of my purchases were 'seconds' but not marked as such.
I have the gyro cut tool. I can’t use it all all. It’s sat on the shelf for years.
A lovely haul! Don't feel too bad about there only being one aisle of papercrafts. I'm in Australia and noticed the same thing at our Paper Expo this year. I suspect traders are still wary about COVID

Sam I have one of those blades and I'm rubbish at it after looking at you I might give it another go 🙈🙊
Those wordies remind me of the Simon says stamp ones, wonder if the wordies ones can be foiled too? X
Lucky 💕

The last three shows have been really disappointing hardly any paper crafting really not worth going to
