"Many, many years ago there was a king in a far country. He was famous, he was strong and he was very clever. But in his country he had many wrongdoers. The King was unhappy about this but how can you stop people from doing wrong? It is not easy. He thought about this difficult question for a long time but he could not find the answer.
Suddenly, one day, he had a good idea. He spoke to his people and told them to build a big stadium in the centre of the city." The Lady Or The Tiger.

i think there was a tiger behind the door this story showed us the dark side of love and how it put us in difficult situation that we should choice our selfs or love
True love choosing lady but I think they love was not real love so the tiger was waiting for him😂I guess
I think lady inside the door because a king daughter she love lots of a gardener man and if any person love some one they never hurt that person
I wish I knew the answer for sure: Selfless love would be to let him know that the door he opens is for him to live and to live happily ever after. Selfish love would be - if I can't have him, no one can - denying him and the lady behind the door the certainty of a happy marriage. If she has service before self as her DNA then she will choose the door with the lady behind but if she wanted her lover to be as unhappy as her - then she would choose the door where the tiger was. What a choice. The first choice is noble, the second one is totally selfish. What would the king say about the choice. If she chose the woman, the king would know that his daughter wanted to see her lover live and this was the ultimate sacrifice. If she chose the tiger door, he would know that he had produced a terribly unforgiving daughter. Either way, the matter had been dealt with - death by tiger or married to another woman and so could not marry the princess. Both ways the man could not marry the princess so the matter had been settled and so the king would just go on to the next matter of state. The only impact is if he has any thoughts about type of daughter he has. Perhaps he does not care about that too as he still had a princess who could be married off to someone suitable that the king believed was suitable. The victim is the man if she feeds him to the tiger. Before he passes away, I am sure he would rue the day he met her. If he gets an equally beautiful wife, he will learn to love her and learn to be content with her. He might even still in his heart have fond memories of his princess and even become the loyalist subject. She would learn to be content that she had shown the greatest act of love. I think we should all aim to show the greatest acts of love to the people we love even if that means we won't always get the outcome we hope to have.
The man trusted his lover - did he knew her true love. It is possible.

Не нуди, для изучения английского хорошо.
@@chastnyjsektor3013 может быть, и хорошо для изучения, но такой текст смертная скука, много куда более интересных, по которым не хуже изучать. А я не столько изучаю, т к мало времени отпущено, сколько приятно проводу время, читая что -либо интересное, и одновременно учусь понимать английский текст хотя бы читая. Даже это немыслимо роскошно для меня
