This exhibition puts Newcastle and Newcastle United on another level, this was spectacular it was a show of force and popularity, I know this might sound silly but I was proud to be a Geordie, I think Bobby Robson would have that wonderful smile on his face. Well done everyone who had a hand in the display.
I moved away from home when i was 6 but its always been home and have always made a point of going home and catching a game as much has i can. I don't mind saying this bought a tear to the eye and had me choked! The difference having an ownership and sponsorship who have put the club firmly back into the heart of the city and putting on such amazing shows and engagement with the fans is everything we could have wished for and more. Brilliant display, love that wor Bobby had a part in it as well. Thank you Eddie for the fab footage!
Goosebumps..absolutely brilliant..had my season ticket 40 years and right now I'm enjoying being part of this ride more than ever..never ever gave up hope of better times during the Ashley years..now we can dare to believe..nothing guaranteed we know that..just enjoy ❤❤

I woke up in Perth, Oz today to see something which was absolutely incredible. How good was that? It is so exciting to think where we have come from 3 years ago, to what journey we are heading on now. And, like in this incredible presentation, this is only the beginning ⚫️⚪️

I though the projections on to smoke were really impressive, really difficult to pull off in any wind, great light show and it would be nice to see something like this at Christmas.

Just been reading about it and its been said Sela hinted at something may be coming. In the end it was probably a bit too late for the kids and too much of an effort for 10 mins. And perhaps the organisers didnt want the quayside packed out like new years eve where special crowd control procedures would be needed. So it was all pretty deliberate in what they did. As you say i perhaps need to watch your show more regularly.
It was ok I suppose,.projection onto buildings is not a big deal these days,I got the impression it was going to be a 3d drone show not this The people on the Gateshead side wouldn’t have had much of a view as it totally relied on the spillers building being the projection screen
Hi Dave, it was a lot more than just a projection onto a building and it was neither designed, nor advertised as being able to be seen from the Gateshead side
Pretty selfish comment, try and look at the overall picture and the enjoyment it gave to a lot of people who maybe can’t get a ticket for a game or even afford one. Maybe even watch it again and look a bit deeper and think about the passion and history content. These kind of “”free shows” are what’s bringing the region back together again.
@Lee-wy9ib i wasnt expectimg anything...but the way it was hyped up as 'the best spectacle show the north has ever seen' etc it was, well, boring. Especially with the bottomless pit of wonga that is SELA....just shows money cant buy creativity...i mean it wasnt even 3d matched to the building contours. They video content looked rushed and hacked together, no real sense of 'history' and if the 'future' is harvey barnes and a bunch of lasses (who have subsequently been binned by the club) well....🤷♂️. As another toon youtuber stated 'what was tbe POINT of it?'....
