That’s me with the Greninja deck :D Thanks for the feature Edit: it’s a multi energy deck and I think has great potential, I placed seventh the day prior in the rocket team tourney, so far 100% conversion into day 2. I want to see more people using it and hopefully someone getting the win ❤
9:08, he was running double energy. He responded on ds and also point out it was about making m2 gameplan more consistent, having a form of early agression and m2 as the big bad finisher
Moltres, charizard and arcanine is genius, arcanine for pika, charizard for mewtwo. Is a 50/50 against other charizards and for any other deck you can decide to either ramp or be agresive
This was the very first deck I built and I thought it was fun, but didn't realize I was sitting on the perfect anti-meta deck. Gotta go back to it now that I'm a bit better
Glad to see Greninja get some love. One of the best support mons currently. Love seeing some people step outside of the box with their decks as well! Tired of seeing the same decks over and over again lol
I’ve been having fun with this fighting deck. 2 Mankey, 2 Primape, 2 Cubone, 2 Marowaks (1 EX 1 regular), 2 Hitmonlee and 1 Snorlax.. The rest are supporters like 1 Giovanni, 2 Oaks, 2 potions, 1 xspeed, 1 Sabrina and 2 poke balls. Its a very fun cheap deck that can do some big damage once you get the right setup. Snorlax i usually just throw in to setup what i need, Hitmonlee is my finisher especially when they retreat, Marowak EX I save for other EX’s since he can do 160 with 2 heads..Marowak regular is just my base fighter, Primapes I use to take damage and let him pretty much one shot or deal 100 damage to most pokemon. Its not the greatest but definitely catches people off guard and can take out EX spammers. I held my own against a Gardevoir/Mewtwo deck as well trying to take his Ralts out off his bench quick with Hitmonlee
Out of the 15 Pikachu matches I've played (there's surprisingly so much more variance in decks nowadays), I've only lost 4 times with the Mewtwo deck. Mewtwo clearly stands heads and shoulders above Pikachu and it seems like this fire deck is getting up there.
What's the consensus on Red Card? I heard it's only good in this type of open deck format but in normal mode it's not as good since opponent has to respect Red Card whether you have it or not.
Did that Mewtwo/Greninja deck actually do well in the tournament or was that just a deck someone used? Because I tried testing it out for myself and it doesn’t seem very good.
Agreed, you're far too reliant on kanghaskan to hit its flips before you can usually get the Mewtwo and Greninja setup. Having double energy just adds a whole other factor of unreliability.
Did pretty well, and the person is in the comments, says he did well in a tournament the day before with it too. Its running dual energy for what thats worth Edit: you can see the placement of the deck at 3:01 at the bottom of the screen.
I'm not sure how effective it actually is, but I've been getting a huge amount of success with gardevoir and alakazam, mostly to combat people with charizard and mewtwo, etc... the main problem I have is pikachu but i can still often do enough damage to get through.
I imagine like most times it's a free sackable body for the back line. Say for instance you've got a growlithe on the board and nothing on the back line your opponent is playing a water deck and flips a 3 on a misty enabling most things. If they take out your growlithe its game over but if you have the fossil it's not. So it's like another basic in that way. But let's say your building up your growlithe and have 2 fire energy on it and have a fossil on the back row and they sabrina you next turn you can sack the fossil for free and bring back out your growlithe. Niche case but it does happen. It's mostly just a sackable body to my best understanding
It’s amazing to counter early game and late game Sabrinas. Your charmander/charmeleon/charizard is very vulnerable alone on the bench and if it’s killed you usually lose the game. The fossil essentially lets you free retreat early game sabrinas that mess up your ramp as well as provide a sack to protect your win condition. It’s more useful than red card in most situations and should be a staple in zard decks.
I run a Butterfree/Gogoat deck with Lilligant ramping. I don’t think it’s good, but it is very fun to play to have drawn-out games. I say Gogoat because he is my highest form of damage. Next highest is Pinsir, but Pinsir is too inconsistent. I would probably need to play an Exeggutor EX or a Venusaur EX for my deck to be the best it can be, and it still would not be that good.
Well I'm just playing Blaine Ninetails+Rapidash with 1Moltress EX as wall on my second account and I finnish the PVP event Using it it was fun beating 3Charizard EX player and 2Mewtwo players to get the 45 wins😁
How do you get 9 in a row? physically with 2 options it's only possible to get 8 of the same in a row??? As with the coin, energy is rigged too then...
Still rocking my venusaur ex deck. It's doing well against pretty much every match. Too bad im not playing much so I won't be able to get the gold emblem on the event
Nice to see my semi final, Oppo mewtwo litterally kirlia, gardevoir in 2 turns xD Very fun tournament after all! Glad i went deep with my triple charizard/amber version
How do they have tournament for this game when there deck stacking apk? You can get screwed in any match up if you get bad draws. The winners are probably just cheaters with drew setting up APK....
@@BreezeFrostFang The secret tech is using the "I´m good at flipping heads" as your greeting. turns the 50/50 into a 75/25. Source my dad works for nintendo.
I think a pretty underrated deck is Mewtwo + one porygon, it lessens the rng and makes getting the entire gardevoir line easier to get, i havent lost with it yet, possibly best deck?
Eh....Porygon is just a reusable but heavily nerfed Pokedex which isnt even that good to begin with. If your top card is not worth pulling, Porygon is just going to be a sandbag waiting to get sniped by water shuriken/blizzard. For anti-Sabrina, fossils/ambers are far better.
@ i think you heavily underestimate him. Porygon gives you every turn the option to see the first card, and ifyou have a pokeball and dont like that card you can just use the pokeball and get a different card. It makes the game much smoother too, since if it was a good card you don’t waste a pokeball when you can just wait a turn
Blastoise and starmie, no articuno. Blastoise, Perfect counter to Mewtwo and charizard. Starmie crushes Pikachu and other quick set ups. Starmie having zero retreat cost buys you a turn setting up blastoise if you use starmie as the wall! Nearly 200 wins and my most consistent deck by far

Question is it winable to have more than 3 basic Pokémon meta?
That’s me with the Greninja deck :D

Ayyyy great work mate. U running the water energies in it?
Thats awesome. Congrats on the success so far!
Hi, I saw that you had farfetch in the other list, why did you switch it up? Its a really nice deck tho I have had great time playing it!
I've had way too many multi energy decks give me 6+ of the wrong energy in a row. I think my record is 8
@@F0XD1Eyou just have to cheat like most of the top people in Pokemon Pocket by selecting an energy curve and setting up deck draw priority
Aside from one or two decks, the state of meta keeps changing. And that keeps the top decks on their toes❤ loving this game rn.
Yes. At first i thi k this game is so simple nothing to discover but it look like after 1-2 weeks meta change
@@nguyentrungkien8047 yeah!
Lol no
I just wish I'd stop bottom decking my stage 1 evo... every third game.
And if the meta feels stale it is because the game is new and everyone has played too much. There are packs coming out that’ll shake up the meta

It's okay. Pika EX will lose more and more of the meta as sets come out, which make Arcanine worse.
I've been used greninja mewto meta for a long time and it gives me a lot of win. 2 mewto ex, 2 Greninjas, 1 gardevoir. Yes, this one is great.
How do you sign up for these touraments

Any recommendations if missing 1 moltres? Like should I run 1 pokedex for the time being?
Speaking for the Charizard deck
Glad to see people understanding that Pikachu isn't as good or consistent compared to others.
It's definitely more consistent, but doesn't have the damage output of Mewtwo or Zard both of which are less consistent but do more damage
Out of the 15 Pikachu matches I've played (there's surprisingly so much more variance in decks nowadays), I've only lost 4 times with the Mewtwo deck. Mewtwo clearly stands heads and shoulders above Pikachu and it seems like this fire deck is getting up there.
Why use the baby mewtwo? Like what does it add to the deck?

I like the idea of adding Arcanine EX to that Charizard deck. Fun to actually use the guy after getting a couple copies of him.

Whats the point of running a fossil in Charizard deck? I tried it, it's a dead draw, does nothing, I don't get it
When someone Sabrina's u, u use the fossil.
