I remember dancing to the Skids in my bedroom in Scotland, inviting the God of Death to take a free pop at me. 'Thanatos. Can't you see me. Thanatos. I'm so lonely'.
This took me right back to a great time in life ( skids the clash and slf are still the best ) was 12 when I seen skids live at king George's hall in blackburn , was a hell of a night thanks lads , we even had skin Ed's turn up for a kick off , and all the skids did was start to play masquerade , what a night feels like yesterday , long live the 70s 🤘🤘🤘

If and when Jobbo and the lads ever get around to gigging North America, save Yankee Dollar and Out Of Town for the encore/set closer; us here on our side of The Great Pond would be joyusly eating that up!

Saw them a few weeks back. Utterly brilliant. Absolutely nobody else other than Bruce Watson could have done this and recreated Stuart's sound.
Jamie does pretty well, saw BC earlier this year and the sound was spot on
Nobody can create Stuart's sound, not even the two Watson's they are living of Stuart's legacy
@@davidharris7083not fit to tune Stuart's guitar
Skids and Stranglers ! Best live acts on the go.
scotticusnorvegicus The Damned are the best
Stranglers just need to put down there plectrums and go home
I saw them in Nottingham last night for the first time since the Glasgow Apollo in 1980 - brilliant gig. Many thanks for sharing this one.
They sound as superb as ever!
