She is a citizen already. She came as a student, got married, started a family and has some savings. Canada blessed her. This is for those contemplating. Stay focused. Congratulations Feyi
Pls tell them now that some people are working remotely also earning hard currency, don't copy anyone do you and stay focused. The moving thing is an individual thing.
I’ve never met you, Feyi, but your vlog felt so personal, like family. I have so many questions, but I’ll wait to see the entire process. Wishing you Godspeed!
You can travel home with expired passport and get a Nigerian visa for the kids. We did that and it was seamless. You will apply online and send their Canadian passport to Ottawa
It's understandable if you don't have the rest of your family here hence the need to move back. In all my previous travels, I used to miss Naija within the first week and when I moved to Canada I thought I would return to Naija within a year. It's 4 years now and I've not missed Naija a bit, I think that's because within my 4 years of living here all my 3 siblings and their families have joined me. I can't just imagine being harassed by the Nigerian Police or walking around in fear. How come it's so easy for me to travel elsewhere but not Nigeria?
All my siblings live in Canada. I’ve never been harassed by police and I don’t really walk around in fear to be honest. Maybe the Nigeria of then is just very different from now but I would like to find out myself. Thank you so much for sharing
Good for you. I am moving soon to Nigeria. Came to study in the US over 40yrs ago, raised kids, time to go. No place like Nigeria. US is good, but it pales in comparison to Nigeria.
Interesting, there's been a lot of buzz lately about Nigerians relocating back to Nigeria from Canada, and it’s a fascinating trend to observe but I guess everyone’s experience is different. For some, moving back is a step toward personal fulfillment, while others might face unexpected challenges in adjusting. At the end of the day it is not just about hope and prayer, yes those are important, but making a strategic move, not based upon emotions, is way more important and also it is important to still have a way to generate an income stream in CAD or USD. Even for those living in Canada it is important to generate income streams in USD to hedge against forex fluctuations. Wish you all the best.
Oh no! Please don’t let it break your heart. The way I see it, I have two homes now and can live anywhere at any point in time. It’s just that right now, it’s Nigeria.
Please what is the process like for getting a Nigeria passport baby born here,as for me i resolved to travel on my expired Passport.Have been on mine for 3yrs after flying to Ottawa they called me back to return for biometrics again after they made mistake by not doing my fingerprints well
It is strongly recommended to get your baby’s Nigerian passport first, prior to booking your flight ticket. Speaking from an informed position. Good luck and all the best with your relocation plan 🙏🏾💕
I just have one question for you. Do you or your husband plan on keeping your jobs in Canada qnd working remotely in Nigeria? Or the plan is to get a Nigerian job or start a business in Nigeria. I ask this because if it is the latter, your stay might be short-lived.
@FeyiMac oh that's good then. If you earn dollars in Nigeria you'll be just fine. Good luck to you and your husband. I came to Canada in 2012 and I think if you can go back and make it work then now is the time. I'm kinda passed the point of returning now and based on my profession, there's absolutely nothing for me there.
Okay Feyi. No wahala, we dey here. If you're moving now, what will your UA-cam be about? Life in Canada will become life in Nigeria? On the side, Canadapost resumed and I didn't get a ticket .🧚🧚♀️🧚♂️🧞♀️. Help me praise God oo😂😂

Before the “Egyptians” try to do the same without understanding context 😂😂😂
😅😅😅 exactly what I thought too
Yes. Anyone who watches me knows this. I will be sharing more on why nobody should copy me in my coming vlogs

I asked and I’ve received! I have been looking for a proper video about moving to Nigeria. Thank you!

Omg! That’s such a disaster. I still don’t have passports for my babies till date. It’s such a shame
@@FeyiMac How can they enter Nigeria with Canadian passport pls?
I prefer the old passport design too.
💯💯
all passports are the same size 13:46

Thank you so much. We ended up not getting it due to the slow processing and probably the Canada Post strike
How does it work tho? Do you have keep paying taxes to Canada since you’re a citizen?
I’m still a tax resident of Canada so I will continue to pay my dues. It’s still my home.
Godspeed. Don’t eat too much ofada
You are coming back after your maternity leave.
One cant fly in with a Canadian passport straight like that?
No, except you have a Nigerian visa endorsed on the Canadian passport
Nope. You need a Nigerian visa or an emergency travel certificate
Moving back to Nigeria or visiting Nigeria? Well, another passport in the bag already! Nigeria isn’t that bad though. It's well.
It is well. Nigeria isn’t so bad for me and it’ll never be in Jesus name
Oh my goodness!! Why?
I crave Nigeria so I’m going. Ten years away is not easy.

I feel like I've seen this before, you've been moving back for years but still in Canada. Home is where the heart is.
Huh? When have I ever moved back?
We did not get to know the reason why you are relocating?
The title was just a way to catch our attention!
Good job in teaching me how to fry eggs!🎉
