At 1:42 listen how the guitarist ends the phrase with a slide up to the G-note (15th fret) then a double pull-off. That alone should tell you he's an Allan Holdsworth fan (classic Holdsworth).

Although someone like Senri has all the chops and is an unbelievable drum soloist she has a very weak concept of pocket and groove. This kid gets it. Even while she was soloing she stayed locked. WOW! She’s frickin awesome.
Kanade is amazing, but Kiyomi and Koichi here, would probably dísagree with your concepts about Senri, cos over the years they have largely worked with Senri and not with Kanade.
Senri and Kanade are both very good drummers with different styles. Although Kanade has a busy drumming style she likes to stay grounded even through solos. Sometimes less is more and I prefer listening to Kanade over Senri. No doubt Senri completely understands that concept as well (less can be more) but I think she is delivering what her fans expect of her which usually means cramming in as many notes as she can. I really think Senri would like to tone it down just a bit but is compelled otherwise. When Senri is not the center of focus onstage she is quite happy to simply play rhythm.
