Thus Spoke My Garage Lift

This was a crazy idea, but it works perfectly for my old 911. I won an Ebay auction for a second-hand industrial hydraulic lift table for $450. Then I dug a hole in my garage floor and poured in some new concrete so the lift could sit down flush with the pad -- I even tiled it to match the rest of the floor. It connects with the flat belly pan of the car and gives me full access to the engine, transaxle, exhaust, everything. I've had it now for nine years, and use it all the time.
