Chevy Cobalt Will Only Go In Reverse? (Solved)

Couple of thoughts here..
#1: Never ever ever use scissor jacks to service a car! They are not stable!
#2: The 11mm plug is actually the full level, there should be very little fluid that comes out when you take it out.
#3: Good catch on the broken line! This is an easy fix that will likely help a lot of people.

I had a stand further up out of view. Since I had the car leaning toward the full hole, I was able to get a decent amount out of there before dropping the pan.

Completely different animal. Loss of reverse in a manual would likely be caused by a bad shift fork, bad bearing, bad synchro, or much worse
