Jesus Christ is that Kenny aronoff on drums. That dude killed it. Her band is unreal. This is the first live clip I've ever seen of her. She sings well and obviously looks great but can't get over that band. Well done.
Jim Bloodgood on drums, Great Drummer as you can hear. Jim’s been Sara’s tour drummer since the early 2000s I believe. Sara’d begun using Matt Chamberlin (Wallflowers and others) to punch up her recordings circa her second album or so. She then needed a rocking drummer with excellent groove for her touring band- that’s Jim. The comparison to Kenny Aaronoff is an apt one. Sara’s tour bands are always great.
