I find it disrespectful when commentators don't even come close to pronouncing a player's name correctly. Zheng Qinwen's name is already anglicized, and yet is massacred by the commentators.

When she's at her best, not easily triggered, I think she plays like a top 20. I follow Serbian players because I love Novak, and Danilovic really makes me...She has the most talent among current female players of Serbia, what a waste that it doesn't translate into much success on tour. What a waste, so much potential.

And the crowd is clearly biased to the point that they are disturbing the athletes. And the commentators really tried, but they are definitely feeling more towards Olga. Always trying to find something nice to say about Dani, whereas towards Zheng is, let’s say, more critical. For example, the winner at 1:06:38 by Zheng. They would try to “give advice” to Dani, but if that winner down the line was by Dani they would praise with all their hearts “such good play” and control and court coverage. Seriously, it’s been decades with this white privileged commentary.
