So I just discovered that UA-cam has an audio setting called “Stable Audio” that has been adding this horrible white noise to ASMR videos I watch and making the audio balance way off. I started watching this video and thought hmmmm and then found the setting and turned it OFF.
Omg the audio is so much better now 😭 I wish UA-cam wouldn’t do this to ASMRtists

I didn't find a "stable audio" setting but did find a "stable volume" setting. I'm guessing that's the setting you meant. The stable volume setting was automatically on for me by default when I checked it. I'm using headphones and a tablet and I had the volume level at about 50% and I could hear a noticeable white noise. When I turned the stable volume setting off, the volume of the video drastically reduced despite the volume level still being at 50%. I could barely hear any white noise but I could also barely hear any of the sounds in the video at all now. I actually had to turn the volume level up the whole way to 100% just to be able to hear the video okay and it still wasn't nearly as loud as it had been at 50% with the stable volume setting on. Turning it off, did reduce the white noise a good bit but I think I'd almost rather deal with the white noise than have to turn the volume up full blast just to hear an asmr video especially because when the video ended an add came on that was so loud it hurt my ears. With the stable volume setting turned off, the volume level is going to constantly change meaning you would have to have to constantly adjust it so its not to loud. With the setting on, it keeps your volume the same no matter what type of video plays.
