One of her best concerts, hope she brings this Crystal with her to the US. She seems to have lost a lot of that confidence when she first started. Like she lost her soulfulness and feeling in her music.I hope she brings it.
i think more than half of the people here dont understand what she says in ENglish. that's why they dont scream loud enough. haha btw I love you ,Crystal!! クリ最高!
Japanese audiences tend to be more on the reserved side. I believe as years have gone on, Japanese people are realizing that it’s alright to be loud but during this time, it was still kinda culture taboo to be screaming randomly during a concert. If you watch the full concert, there’s times that the audience is really loud. Especially when she does her more well known songs. You can also hear people screaming “I love you Crystal” in Japanese when she asks the audience to be louder. Also most Japanese people know “Are you ready to party?” It’s a universal phrase that’s been used all over the world. Most Japanese people know a little English from school too but they are just shy which is why the audience weren’t louder. Other Japanese artists speak a little English in their Japanese during shows too.
jimin's tiny hands but the height of her career really has nothing to do with the age of the audience. I’ve watched this whole concert a couple times and from the shots of the audience, I would say there was a mixture of ages. Her fanbase has always been mostly Japanese females due to the lyrical content of her songs but I believe during this time she also had gained new listeners who were curious about her because she doesn’t look Japanese. This concert was also to promote her Best Selections album which was selling well. Crystal said in interviews that she knew new listers were checking out her music which was why she added songs that weren’t as well known to the best album. She also sang songs during this concert such as Chewing Gum Baby because she wanted her listeners to hear the songs she did back when she wasn’t popular. On top of that, you can see the people in the audience that are her actual fans and the ones who bought a ticket out of curiosity to see what she was all about. I believe everyone left her concert satisfied though. This is the reason she still has a career. She’s not as popular as she use to be but girl’s albums still crack top twenties and thirties. Her album Shine even made top ten on the albums chart. The potential is there for her to get back on top again.
This is one of my favorite songs and performance of Crystal Kay. She releases herself and she is radiant.

There are no black dancers😯
There is a deficit of Black backup dancers in Japan.
There was Elly who is half black half Japanese. This was before he was famous.
I am kinda shocked this is a Tokyo audience yet they are so old...
well her music *is* kinda old.......she mainly popular in the 2000's :(
@@jiminstinyhands7776 Lol I don't agree. I'm 30, and I was a teen back then. It's not that old. I mean old that her audience is my parents generation!
@@kilipaki87oritahiti the height of her career was almost 20 years ago sis i'd say that's old.
