I wouldn’t call them vibrations but yes some buzz from the fuel tank top and that’s only when I’m running on a low fuel levels. ua-cam.com/video/HnOIyVpqTOI/v-deo.htmlsi=7-zS6mEx7whgguT2
@@sameergupta3374 how do you even feel them? Do you sit that forward near tank? If I’m understanding correctly, you are talking about vibrations on seat? Or tank?
Sometimes while riding I tend to shift forward towards the tank, at that time I feel the vibrations I adjust the seating position back to normal but still vibrations irritate
The standard design on most of the bikes is engine on chassis but himalayan 450 is chassis on top of engine. That means engine is not sitting on chassis rather engine hanging under chassis that is the problem. I too have himalayan 450 n I never observed the chassis. Now that i have checked the complete chassis n observed how its designed. God save us 🙏 One thing I am going to do is I will get the after market engine gaurd removed and will install OEM so in case anything breakage RE can take full responsibility
Yes, it’s a fantastic move by RE to have the engine as stressed member of the motorcycle and I have been telling everyone not to go the third party accessories way. Get it removed man ✊🏽 ua-cam.com/video/bRrZ7yRy0Ks/v-deo.html
As you can observe in the chassis break incident photos, the engine bolts are missing. This absence likely caused an uneven distribution of stress on the chassis, leading to the breakage.
Indeed, the improper installation of the third party crash guard caused this i believe and hence that’s why I stay away from anything and everything third party unless they are a well reputed brand such as BMC and Silkolene ✊🏽
I can deny your theory..but i cant because none of my friend face this breakdawn issue..so i also skeptical as i knw alteast 10 people around me having this bike including my self..i did not find that bike is not durable..and if durablity is a issue it will highlighted during many prople extreme ladadkh rides..even chesi breakdawn owner did not came forward to give details about this incident ..every one is denying about giving details about bike..smthing is not as clear as it is looking
I watched video where RE officials asked to take down videos uploaded by ytuber(bullet guru) even bike owner said he doesn’t want to any problems. RE gives reasons like it’s bcoz of 3rd party-crash guard bt who knows we cn only wait n watch
That entire video is a logical falacy. It proves nothing. And don't we all remember the MANY frame breaks on the Himalayan 411 which was endemic in 2018/2029? I think conspicay theory is the title this video should have.
Nice video brother , I own a himi too (Kamet While) and seeing these kind of issues ... increases my anxiety .its assuring to hear a fellow rider thoughts on this :) . that DOG riding video is unexpected .... how you keep the dog calm riding at high speeds . Haha, same feel here! I found this bike very robust to tackle any indian roads. However how are you guys dealing with the engine heat? Did you guys got any engine guards, I am still thinking about it because I don't want to increase the weight anymore. Any thoughts?
@@RajdeepBorgohainRajdeep 1. Engine heat - it's a higher capacity single cylinder engine ...
