I think this is the best mini-documentary yet! Really good to see the interpersonal relationships and different perspectives. Only point I might suggest is to not have the clips of the equipment manufacturing throughout as it removes you from the immersion of the story and really doesn't fit with the narrative. Apart from that, I hope to see more of this content in the future!

I'm Italian and never quite got why athletes have to join the law enforcement and become a member of the police to earn their living. They do no policing at all and know nothing about it. They should earn their living through their own sport exploits.

Perché’ non se li guadagnano? It is a way to give them support but also brings honour to the forces. It is a system like another, and quite successful. Classico commento da italiota medio bacchettone..

@@deusexmachinawl to another Italian, I don't think fencing or swimming or running the 100 Mt like Jacobs have anything to do with police work. I'm not diminishing their great and successful performances but they are just sports performances. They are athletes and not policemen. It's pretty clear. And I don't feel comfortable, as an Italian, paying taxes that pay them a wage for a job they do not even do. This is called fraud. But in Italy it seems to be ok!

@@b89oj what do you think it happens in other countries? they go working for McDonalds and in the meanwhile they become super-champions? People pay in different ways, even more. In the UK the lottery is financed by the people and then money redistributed. In France the tour de France is so successful because is state financed.. giro d’italia instead lacking fundings

@@deusexmachinawl well, I'm not debating lottery or Mcdonald. I couldn't care less about that. In other countries athletes are athletes and paid just for that and given money and funds for their job. I don't think it's even respectful twds our Italian athletes to tell them "join the police or beat it!". Me, personally, I would never become an athlete if I were asked to become a policeman. The two realities are distinct and should be separate. I'd like to become an athlete but never even considered becoming a policeman and would never accept that as a condition.
