Lorenzo I like how you used the donor RC car for your vehicle ......That is the most unique WW11 war machine ever cool design and you did a great job creating with the plastic sheeting!.......Your bud Frank Denny-
This looks like the ford FAT, a number of models (revel, tamiya, italeri) have the ford model sold as a Morris incorrectly, the bodies are almost identical but the bonnet is slightly different and the Morris extends in front of the front wheels. Because the Morris quad came first, "quad" was used to denote any FAT for the 17 and 25 pounders in the British army with the "beetleback" body including the cmp chevrolet.
I design this model did not build it from a kit build it from scratch (Homebuild) and from pictures first picture wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_C8 yes this maybe different a bit I even ride a full scale at the old fort in London England maybe not perfect scale but if you wan it to be a ford fat that ok with me :-)
@@LorenzoJalbert that's right, both ford and chevrolet built Field Artillery Tractors in Canada known as the CMP (canadian military pattern) FAT's you have beautifully replicated a Ford CMP FAT which along with the chevrolet cmp was based on the Morris but used the respective manufacturers parts hence the ford having that flatter nose as it was powered by the ford v8 while the Morris (see the wiki link you just shared) has a much longer bonnet that extends past the wheels as it used a longer inline 4. Morris made c8's in Australia as they had been manufacturing vehicles out there for some time previously but not Canada. Please don't think I'm being critical, just trying to straighten out what has become a common misconception (even those big model makers made that mistake)
This is actually not a Morris Quad...its based on a Ford Artillery Tractor. Ford and Chevy were used in Canada, not Morris. The body style is quite different. You did a great job, this is very cool!!! I'll bet those fat tires would have been preferred on the real thing!
A bit of Historic Facts: This is a Morris Commercial C8 Fat Popularly known as the Quad, the Morris Commercial C8 FAT (Field Artillery Tractor) was one of the most successful of a range of vehicles produced by Morris-Commercial Motors for the British Army. The Quad, which had originally been developed by Guy Motors as the Quad-Ant Artillery Tractor, entered service in October 1939. While a large number of Quads had been lost during the British Expeditionary Force's withdrawal from Dunkirk, France in 1940, it continued to be built in large numbers by Morris. Ford and Chevrolet Build the british design in Montreal Canada various styles (including the similar Karrier KT4 used by Indian Divisions), and would continue to provide excellent service to the Artillery during the North-Africa, Italian and North-west Europe campaigns. and you don't have to believe me go to :en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_C8 ww2db.com/vehicle_spec.php?q=515

Brilliant build as always Lorenzo. You always turn out such amazing vehicles. Did you have to stiffen the suspension? I know rock crawlers like this always like to flop or lean one way or the other.
Awesome work !!! Love it!!! Rock Crawler parts are best for builds , all wheel drive and really strong R/C quality. Unique wonderful machine !! Nice....
