    Hey, you described exactly the kind of pain I have in my knee right now.
    I started having this pain during my runs a few weeks ago and despite having tried some exercises against jumpers knee nothing seemed to help.
    So thanks for clarifying the difference to the runners knee because that sounds exactly like my problem.
    I always had slightly shortened quads but I always ignored that cause I never had problems before.
    I will start working on it and hopefully it will get better soon.

    Fantastic overview with a great description of the progression of exercises. Thanks. This is going to be a great video for patients to watch and then ask their DPT for guidance.

    Hi, I get a lot of relief from the stretch and adductors. Should I continue the banded squats since I feel them at the front of my knee from the very first squat?
    Edit: I have no pain doing the adductors for about 15-20 reps

    Thanks for the video because I've had knee pain but wasn't sure which one I have (i have runners knee).
    Question: Should I ice my knee after or before those excersises and about how long till pain goes away?
