Hi Lindsey! For the wall behind the stove, you should consider hiring someone to put in a tile backsplash. I did that in my first house, and it's an easy cleanup after the tile is in IF you seal the grout. It only cost a few hundred dollars.

Just found your channel Lindsey, so inspirational! I'm a list maker too. I would do a pop of color on the rug like the orange red pillows you have and a super fluffy rug. When I was a kid the stairs were always the same, a catch all. I don't currently live in a house with stairs.
