You chose the right day 🙂. Beautiful morning, love the frost, I'm a bit of a snow and frost person meself ... we have fam connections to Oban ... no, don't believe the monster still lurks in the Ness, maybe once, but no longer ... Thanks for posting 🙂
£18 return is brilliant! Glad to see you promoting public transport: made me wonder whether these buses pass close to Youth Hostels? Or maybe make connections with local buses / trains that could take travellers closer to them? Could they take a few bikes in the hold?
Hi Linda, plenty space for bikes underneath in the hold. I’m sure hostels are passed on the way. I would need to research and find out. I know the Inverness - Fort William buses connect with Oban, and I’m sure most other services are the same. Seems to be a lot more interconnected than the trains.

It’s was a beautiful day Barbara. The rain has settled back in now. Hopefully the clear nights and frosty mornings return soon 😀
Sitting in Nevis Bank inn, you see the Glasgow to Uig busses passing. That must be an 8 hour journey
I believe so John. Maybe I’ll tackle it one day :)
