The song is called "Ready, Go!" and was only made in Japanese, but there are English translated lyrics online!

All these years later, I still don't hear Spring Stadium in Azure Blue World. Also, something I discovered somewhat recently is that the day theme for Jungle Joyride in Sonic Unleashed contains a subtle reference to Back in Time (Regal Ruin) from Sonic R. You can hear it about a minute and 50 seconds into the Jungle Joyride day theme.
If you replay the Genesis episodes, you'll notice that usually only the first zone of each game was really entirely about speed (and even then, that's only totally true for Sonic 1 and 2). Later zones always tended to be more about platforming and a bit more "chill". Think Marble Zone in Sonic 1 and how you had to stop to push blocks or stand on them while they moved slowly across lava). So yeah, Sonic was kinda about speed but not entirely either.

Love this song. I remember when a friend first told me that the theme for Lost Impact on Shadow the Hedgehog was the theme for Panic Puppet: Act 1 for Sonic 3D Blast on the Sega Saturn/PC and I thought he was kidding until I heard it myself. Most people think that's lazy but, in my opinion, it keeps nostalgia going AND Kirby, Super Mario and Final Fantasy games do it all the time.

Excellent video. I knew a few of the Adventure music was remixes of 3D blast but the others(except for the obvious Green HIll remixes) were a surprise. I congradulate SEGA for recycling songs RIGHT instead of wrong like how Terminal Velocity Act 1 from Colors is a excellent remix of Sky Deck Act 1 from Adventure.

I've just recently found out that Sonic Heroes' Final Fortress theme is recycled from Sonic 3D Blast's Volcano Valley theme. It's kind of funny knowing I've owned both games for years and didn't notice until someone pointed it out. XD
I noticed a more recent example, in Sonic Lost world the part in that jungle where you had to run nonstop throughout the stage, the music sounds similar to the Empire City music of Sonic Unleashed.

Excellent video. I knew a few of the Adventure music was remixes of 3D blast but the others(except for the obvious Green HIll remixes) were a surprise. I congradulate SEGA for recycling songs RIGHT instead of wrong like how Terminal Velocity Act 1 from Colors is a excellent remix of Sky Deck Act 1 from Adventure.
At the end of the video I was dumbfounded. I found myself thinking "OH GOD WHY ISN'T THERE MORE?! WHY DID IT HAVE TO END?!"

This is why i like about the franchise it could have more recycling music in the future.
Even tho they were remade, tbh it still is really nice. The remixes is compatible for different time eras.
I've just recently found out that Sonic Heroes' Final Fortress theme is recycled from Sonic 3D Blast's Volcano Valley theme. It's kind of funny knowing I've owned both games for years and didn't notice until someone pointed it out. XD

I noticed a more recent example, in Sonic Lost world the part in that jungle where you had to run nonstop throughout the stage, the music sounds similar to the Empire City music of Sonic Unleashed.

Which is why I have it playing after Sonic CD, as well as listed as being from 1992, while Sonic CD was in 1993.
I knew approximately half of them, most of the 3D blast ones, but the first two were a BIG surprise.
