Don't know if you have ever heard of the Smoak vlogs,but Shawn Smoak just put them on his new street glide and man he cannot stop raving about them.great shocks!
I did the same thing. Got to Sturgis four days ahead. Had my front end replaced by Legend. Did the rears before I left. Ride back to Seattle area was way, way better. Great people, great product.
Legend Suspension is where its at, Chase is the man and he knows his products top to bottom, front to back. I can't wait for the day when I can get my suspension upgraded with Legend! Enjoy Adam.
Awesome set of Sturgis 2018 videos! Rode my bike up this past week. And was able to stop and stay at the K river campground and meet Adam Ashley and Gisele. Got pictures of the war horse and had a great night sleep! Everyone needs to get out and see Adams campground it is wonderful.

While I have to admit that there is nothing better than an aftermarket shock upgrade to something other than stock I have to also respectfully disagree with the selection of Legends. 4yrs ago I made the jump to the Ohlins rear shock. The premier shock IMHO. During my search and R&D I checked out an tried four of the best...Legends, Progressive, Terry Cable and Ohlins. Hands down Ohlins won!!! And I've never looked back. Added the front cartridges and it's like riding on a cloud of air. Glad you like em Adam. Enjoy the new ride!!!!
Adam just a quick follow up, Did you hear on Fox News about the wounded warriors project? I see that a lot of disabled vets from various countries and the U.S are riding their Motorcycles across country for therapy... Maybe you can reach out to the wounded warriors project and have them drop by your campground sometime? It sounds like this won’t be a one time deal, but a on going project. This video turned me onto Legend Suspensions. I put the 13" REVO-A's on my street glide and it's the best thing I've done to the bike. Saving for the fronts too!

Hello Adam, l too strongly believe in upgraded suspension systems and I agree they are well with the money if you are a serious rider. Other benefits can mean longer life and more even wear on our expensive tires as well, maybe you can comment on this topic as time goes by? Any time you can achieve a lower center of gravity and longer suspension travel with better cornering ability and a more stable comfortable ride, that certainly is well worth the money for sure!

Paying $30K for a motorcycle that needs "upgrades" of ALL of the systems that make the ride enjoyable and reliable? Unless something changes, my 2017 Road Glide Ultra will be the last HD I buy!!!
Best thing I did to my ‘03 road glide was out Legend suspension on it, great product!

Adam, I'm starting off with the rear Legend shocks and having them installed here in Columbia, Missouri at my buddy Matt Gilbain's shop here in town,,, I told him I saw your video and how I've heard nothing but good things with Legend shocks. Matt told me that you stayed over night at his shop and he welded on a bunch of external boxes on EGOR , and for me to tell you he said " HI"... He told me he still has your number in his phone.. Way cool how people's paths cross.... Matt said I will totally feel the difference in handling...

Try putting a Trask turbo charger on it, you'll increase your HP to at least 140. I think you'll really love it then!

I think they mentioned in the video the suspension dropped an inch which is great! Any issues with scraping the floorboards now?
None whatsoever; it has definitely improved my handling.
Ha, I did the same thing. Waited a year because I didn't want to void my warranty and the month it ended I already had the mods ready to go. The cool thing about doing a bunch at once is it's a more noticeable difference than if you did them one at a time. Not done yet though.

yea that's absolutely right , harley uses the same exact 40 years old showa suspension technology .. supplied to harley from honda of japan as both the haley and the honda use showa suspension that is owned by HONDA the builders of all new harley suspension ... the new front end and rear shocks on the 750 street rods are about the same average number of "clicks" for rebound and compression damping .. so as they say 20 clicks for rebound 20 clicks for compression . is only 39 ways to get it wrong ... so what do you use Ohlins ? if so they are the only choice for any and all motorcycles of all brands

Been going back and watching all your videos, after seeing this one I am giving alot of thought to new suspension. I have a 2018 Street Glide and it honestly rides way to stiff for me. My only question is when you go to 2 up how easy it to adjust that rear end for the passenger?
The cough part is when you get the bill, starting at 700$ plus for shocks and 800$ plus for front springs that is very expensive.... I am all about America, 20 years of service in the army and former police officer, but I can’t afford the bill for my 08 road glide. If I start saving for it, it’ll take longer than a year. Until then I gotta go with my progressive shocks and original front spring, trust me after all my injuries, I need a better suspension, until then.... ride Adam ride!!!!!!!! In comfort you deserve it!!!!! Be safe brother....

I've had the Ohlins on my 14 street glide front and rear and it wasn't much of an improvement, one of these days I will give Legend Revo A shot.
I have the Ohlins HD772 (13in shock, with 3in travel, set with 1in of sag) on my 18 street glide. To me it's night and day difference from the stock 12in which has 2in of travel and no sag.

Would love to see a video on your bike and what all you’ve had done to it.
Suspension is just one of many reasons I switched to an Indian Chieftain, the best and most fun ride I have ever owned. And I ride almost everyday year round. Also almost all of the parts that make up the bike are manufactured in the USA and built and assembled in Minnesota.
Almost ready to pull the trigger but I am concerned with lowering the bike an inch as this will affect is lean angle and performance in the turns!
You should take a trip up to the PNW

Can Legend Suspension provide me with new shocks on the rear of my 09 Tri Glide?
as I have to add air every other month to my stock rear shocks.. & yes I had to buy the HD pump to fill them.. got a ding in my cover taking it off to get access to the valve,😡.

Hey Adam, I know this is an older video but I remember when you took Ashley to have here’s installed. I what length shocks did you put on her bike? I have a 21 Road King Special also. I’m am only 5-9 so I’m on the fence between the 12 and 13. I would appreciate any input you have.

I’m sure that all of the upgrades... between the screaming eagles and suspension were done at a very deep discount. Adam didn’t pay anything close to full price.

How do you adjust it for:
1.) when you’re riding 2 up and you have to adjust for your passenger’s weight?
2.) when your loading for a trip and add luggage weight?
3.). When you load a passenger and luggage both?

Easily adjustable by hand. No tools. You'll get good at guesstimating weight . Best suspension on the market.

All they said about the spring sounds great, but seeing you often carry a large load wouldn't it be too light? The preload has been set for your weight, will be a pain to adjust when your loaded up, did you consider their air shocks so you can easily adjust for different loads?
Stuart Ridge-Cooke I believe this is the best they have. They set the weight with my Gear included because I ride with it most often. And it is easy to change on the dial if I need it

... but you can easily adjust the stock rear suspension for different riding loads if you switch from single to two riders, but not the new Legends?
