      @casham6239 2 роки тому

      Johnny gave a good commentary follow up on that. I can also provide personal experience. When you are homeless and are lucky to have a car, it is considered your home once you've lost everything. A place for your clothes, any extra food, your pet, toiletries, a plate, cup, soap, water. Things you can't carry around. If a person is homeless, even if they have another car for sleeping, you're not going to be joy riding. They will be nearby out of necessity and to protect their "home" from thieves or other homeless people moving in. They don't have gas money. It's a totally different lifestyle. A much different way of life. You have very little money and can only buy foods to eat immediately because you have no place to prepare it. No stove, microwave, fridge, pots, plates, serving bowls, napkins, a table.....a bathroom.
      Sure, he gave the same pat answer most others do, "I'm getting it towed today". Maybe he was hoping just like everyone else does, that this time, it will work.

      @@casham6239 Hi there, I wasn't referring to the first car he towed (the possibly homeless one), I was talking about the guy who DROVE up when the car was being hooked up...he was NOT the homeless cars owner. @@kathybricco1464 I am talking about the blue car parked for weeks in the Walmart parking lot, where the gentleman, (in a car), said he was having someone tow it today. When Johnny told him the car had to be impounded, he asked Johnny where he was taking it. Johnny told him the address is on the side of the truck. That's why I posted my comment to explain how a vehicle can be "left" for weeks on end. No, it's not legal, but sometimes you've got to do the best you can when you're scraping the bottom of the barrel and aren't eligible for assistance, for ex., a common wealth state. I've been homeless. Disabled, and sleeping in a car in the winter. Just explaining how somethings can come to be....... If you're not talking about that car, my apologies.

    I have a feeling nobody comes to the tow yard and claims the Walmart car, the guy that said it was his was way to calm.

    It is so very difficult being poor and having a vehicle you have sentimental attachment to. I understand your feelings when you said, "I hate taking somebody's house." to be down so low a person is forced to live in their car, to me, is the lowest yo go right before the car is taken and the residence is now the street. Breaks my heart, especially if children are involved. Stay safe, pray hard.

    If a person in the residential complex sees a towtruck and immediately runs out to meet it, that means she doesn't have a clear conscience.
