J ai énormément apprécié cette démo car les sous bois sont pour moi un sujet de prédilection et je vois que nous rencontrons un peu des difficultés identiques pas évident la lumière entre les troncs et sur les troncs ainsi que la perpective ..je trouve que l atmosphère est belle ...un sujet qui m interpelle toujours est le choix de la couleur du papier merci Yves Marie toujours pas de live pour moi mais toujours le replay ..Corinne des Hauts de France .super fan des produits Sennelier 😅😁😉

Now I am excited to go down to my studio and paint with my Sennelier soft pastels! Incidentally, I have noticed some artists are leery of LeCarte as a substrate as it is not water resistant, and they fear a sneeze will ruin their work. I have found, however, that if a small droplet of moisture lands on the surface, if I do not touch it until it has completely dried, the surface is as good as ever. Thought I would share that helpful hint.
And the more I work with the various papers available for soft pastel, the more I appreciate LeCarte. It is sturdy and does not curl up in the humid air of Virginia. It’s sturdiness makes it easier to ship and frame. The colors available are ideal for any type of painting one could wish to paint, and the fact that it is easy on the fingertips to blend is a big plus. It holds a surprising number of layers as well, for those of us who like to create with many layers.
