Pete is a fantastic dancer. When he was on Strictly, he always looked like one of the professional dancers to me, he was that good!!! ❤ 10 out of 10 every time I would give!!

+cmleidi They don't Jay's Jive was much better than this everything that Craig said in the comments was right, I could pick out what was wrong with it since I first watched it. Jay deserved it and was much better than him
Jay was definitely not over scored for that dance, well deserved. no way is peters jive better than jays. if anything they're underscoring Jay now by giving him lower than he deserves. always little to no mistakes. Peter is sometimes getting over scored but this was a very good dance.
This was one of my mums favourite songs - ike and Tina turner! Always remember dancing at Auntie Vals to this!

It is Thursday and I still did not hear the judge's comments of Strictly Come Dancing Week 9
First off, why don't we give some recognition to that amazing singer who sang the cover? She's one of the reasons I love Strictly. All of their singers are top notch compared to the awful band singers on US DWTS. Now - While I root for Janette, and need to wish her a happy birthday, I have to say this week was a swing and a miss. I honestly didn't find very much Jive content in it, as much as I saw goofing around. Now, yes, it's a fun dance, but ignoring the required content is a risky move that doesn't always win. To me, I think between him and Jamelia, Jamelia should've stayed. But I do like Janette!
Aw, so sad to see Andre seemingly overwhelmed by those professional dancers around him! I mean, they really showed him up here. This is the very reason why having backing dancers around like this is NOT a good idea. There weren't many kicks and flicks (which suggests to me he wasn't very good at those so Janette tried very hard to keep those to the bare minimum), again, Andre still isn't lifting his legs using the balls of his feet. Instead, we continue to see him lifting his legs using his thighs and that made the routine looked 'wrong'. Just because Celine Dion sang about the ragdoll doesn't mean he should dance like one. Gosh, I am being really harsh here, but unfortunately I don't think this is his dance despite it seemingly being a great dance for him on paper (after seeing him lapping it up in his Charleston). Hmm, scores, I am afraid to say, a seven. Hopefully the judges are in a Tower Ballroom good mood and some awarded him an eight...
Yeah, his scores were 6 7 8 8. Craig commented that the whole thing didn't look quite right. I thought it was the one dance where the celebrity looked way out of their depth next to the backing dancers.
Estella Hunter Six was harsh, but two eights were generous and balance things off quite well for this routine...

Oh dear dear dear. .... That was terrible indeed and I can't believe he is still in the show. I am a Peter Andre fan but in his defence can I say the choreography made him looked worse than he was? Am not trying to blame Jannete but in my opinion the content could not tell a story. it looked to me like kids jumping up and down having fun in the playground. I love Janette but I think she got to work harder on that. She cant play safe all the time. Any thoughts?

.....and the judges save him!!! Even Len's pathetic attempt to redeem the integrity of the judges by voting for Jamelia, does not damping the facts that this show is biased towards Peter Andre......disgraceful!

+Jane Boyce Totally agree, they are exceptionally bias towards Andre. It was refreshing to see Craig put Peter down like that after his very poor performance last night. I believe, as he was bottom of the leader board, he should have went home. That's unless Jamelia was absolutely dreadful compared to him, which I highly doubt!
+Claire Stapley it's getting embarrassingly ridiculous now, Claire the blinkered, biased judging. it seem they know we are aware of it now so don't even try to disguise it anymore.
The blatant favouritism for the likes of Greasy Andre is disgraceful. Len is meant to be the traditionalist, always wanting each dance to be exactly what it's meant to be, with good basic and recognisable steps, so how on earth he thought Peter's jive warranted an 8, God only knows. I am genuinely disappointed with the lack of integrity and honesty shown by the judging.

It's because Jamelia was in the dance off for the 5th time,so the judges deliberately got rid of her . Jamelia revealed it was a set up ....as she said they replayed Peter's cheers or something in the pre recorded results show.

I was gutted for Peter. The Jive clearly wasn't his dance. The song choice and choreography for the routine was disappointing. I REALLY hope he gets through to next week's show.
I was so disappointed in the choreography, I personally feel like this wasn't a competitive number in the aspects you mentioned!

This dance was a terrible and I would have marked him lower and Len looked so annoyed that the others said his dance was better than Jamelia in the dance of. He was so stiff dancing he made it seem as if the steps were the same my God the kicks and flicks ahhh. If you watch the dance of vote Darcy copies Craig's vote and when Len says Jamelia should have won the dance off she looks as if she voted wrong which she did.Whatever dance Peter does looks the same. The Charleston was good but only because it's not a tidy dance. But Georgia made his Charleston rubbish her dances are how its supposed to be done. I just hope he gets voted off next week. I'm not a Peter hater I just think dance wise he should not still be here

This is his worst dance by far. I have a feeling he'll be in the bottom two tonight. He may even be eliminated. Shame, because the training videos looked so promising! And for all those thinking "he won't go out, he's been amazing!" Just remember what happened last year with Pixie. All it took was one bad performance and BAM! Out of the competition.
+Scd123 I had read somewhere that Pixie sort of had to leave -- because she would not be going on the SCD tour -- she had her own tour going with a new release or something. Apparently, the final remaining dancers are expected to go on the tour. Could this be the same thing with Peter -- he, too, just released an album?? (Or is all just supposition??) I was absolutely shocked when Pixie & Trent went out last year -- so have always wondered if this was the case??
Wow, if that is the case thats changed the way i look at strictly. If she intentionally did a bad dance or they tampered with the votes that would ruin the competition aspect as a whole, by the fact that you never know which people should actually be in the bottom two. If this is the case, why didn't she just pull out? Seems more logical and at least you'd go out on a high. Hoping it's coincidence though, because otherwise I don't trust strictly anymore
Scd123 I hear you -- I agree!! I read it on several comment boards last year -- after it happened -- and it was written by different commenters. They stated that the rules specify that the final 6 (I believe it was 6) must go on tour -- and so she stayed in as long as she could, etc. So -- it was enough to leave me wondering, also!! (I will say she wasn't surprised, nor upset, when she went out -- do you recall that??) So -- anyhow -- it may be wrong -- but it is food for thought!!
It would make sense if she stayed around just to be in he final six, then shoot off to do her tour, but it still ruins the competition, if contestants are purposefully made to leave rather than going out when they should. BBC, you do know there is such thing as quitting the competition! You've done it plenty of times before so why not do it now? At least its not a betrayal of trust!
Scd123 The same comment boards said it about Jake Woods' departure (EastEnders) -- he would soon be leaving as he was unable to commit to the tour -- and boom! I think it was the next week -- he was out! Scratched my head!! (Oh -- and when Frankie was pregnant -- and unable to do the tour -- people were commenting to bring Pixie back -- but she was already on her own tour -- that had been arranged years prior!) I could be wrong -- but it is odd -- and does make one wonder.....
This was far from his best. Flat footed, his timing wasn't as good as it normally is. His weight is too far back. He needs to be up on his toes a lot more. He did do it a lot better in the dance off though.
Oh, dear. I hate to say it (especially since I LIKED Jeremy), but that was Jeremy levels of BAD. As Len would say, this definitely wasn't Peter's dance! :(
