Until the release of the movie and the announcement of peach showtime, this DS game was practically unknown to most people.
I'm aware of the first game, I'm just proud she's got 2 now :D
Interesting fun fact: This game appears to be referencing Japan's Takarazuka theater tropes, which are basically all-female shows. Every character, from the villain to even the hero, are all female, and were applied to roles that were, at the time in Japan, strictly masculine roles. One of the most iconic is what Peach'e swordfighter transformation appears to reference: Lady Oscar, who was a female musketeer.
With that said my favorite transformation is the thief outfit. I have a friend who loves Persona and loves Peach, so she was squealing when she saw this. I'm holding that memory for quite a while.
My immediate thoughts on the thief transformation were “Omg Peach is a Phantom Thief this is amazing”

I would say the genre for this game is "Variety", which is a very rare genre of gaming that hasn't been seen since the Wii era, and I'd like to see it make a comeback.

And while that is happening Luigi is climbing up a spooky tower with three clones of himself fighting a countless horde of ghosts and a Godzilla boolossus.
Along with that Mario then encounter an familiar acquaintance who is stealing his mini Mario toys from his toy factory

This game was amazing! I used to think that Nintendo was going to renew Super Princess Peach in the worst way but this is way better than what I thought and I love the whole theatre aspect of it!

This game looks so refined, and is a successor to the classic Super Princess Peach game. I love the variety of transformations they gave peach but the Detective one stands out the best for me, she looks very intrigued and professional 😂
The end of the final boss reminded me of some kind of Kirby game.

Radiant Peach Transformation is my favorite because she shines on the show till the very end.
This is such a cool game, I'm so happy that Peach got a game where she got to be the star. I know she's had a previous one, but while it was cute, it doesn't give the same oomph as this one does!

I've watched through this video religiously, it looks like such a fun game! Dashing Thief Peach is definitely my favourite of the bunch: smooth controls with the grappling hook, adrenaline-pumping setting, great music. For many of the same reasons Ninja is in my top 3 as well.
You can definitely tell this is a Good-Feel game, they really nailed it. The setting, pace, variety, it all makes it a comfort game. Very appealing, and your gameplay makes it all the more enjoyable❤

One of the outfits that caught my attention in Princess Peach: Showtime! is Patissiere Peach. She looks bubbly and cute in that outfit, giving me the OG Princess Peach vibes. Every time I see her baking treats, I feel hungry thinking about eating sweets. My favourite part of the demo was decorating the desserts while on a swing. After playing the demo, I never thought that she will have a boss fight with just… baking. When I watched the boss fights, I was shocked when I saw the Dark Baker (sounds like Darth Vader) as the boss. I found the boss fight so fun and humorous for the fact that beating the boss is to complete the cookie batch with the Patissiere Sparkla while the boss is also trying to Ground Pound them randomly. I will never forget how humorous it was for me to see Patissiere Peach and Patissiere Sparkla defeat the Dark Baker with a flavourful cookie, hence that is why the Dark Baker’s cookies are plain. Patissiere Peach was unpredictable to me that I never imagined that her baking skills would kill an evil chef. The outfit made the game so entertaining. 😂

This game really is something else. My favorite form had got to be patisserie peachy as the backers design really goes with her original color, and adds a few other cool enhancements that make the design feel good. Great video!

My favorite Princess Peach transformation is Mermaid Peach. I love her color scheme, especially the turquoise-to-pink gradient on her tail! The pearl earrings and brooch are a nice touch, and her singing voice sounds like that of an opera singer!😍😘🧜🏼♀️

the Figure Skater has the snow and winter wonderland imagery and lights, the Swordfighter and Mermaid plays cover the cozy medieval fantasy, the Land of Sweets speaks for itself,
i guess the Sci-Fi Superhero play could technically fill the role for the Land of Toys if you squint hard enough..
and all wrapped up with fighting against a glamorous, vain, evil witch to save the theater and the kingdom! See? it's the PERFECT magical cozy game to play around the holidays!!
I absolutely adore Mermaid Peach, it's my favourite transformation. Even tho anything related to water in mario often isn't a fan favourite I always liked the esthetic. Great Video, it always accompanies me throughout the day!

Yeah, nah. According to special relativity, a mental clock in space runs slower than a mental clock on Earth, meaning Rosalina ages at a much slower rate than Peach or Mario. This means that Rosalina has lived MUCH longer than any other character.

Super fun game! I’ll admit, I was kind of hoping Mario would show up at the end, having been informed by the accompanying Toads that Peach was trapped in the theater, ready to save Peach and take on Grape, only to see everything having already been resolved. But I can understand why. 1. This is Peach’s time to shine. 2. The Toads probably initially wanted to go to him for help, but the Sour Bunch might’ve prevented anyone from entering or leaving the island, so all they could do was wait until Grape was defeated.
Always a treat to see these playthroughs! Definitely picking mermaid peach as my favorite transformation, though radiant is a nice surprise!

This looks like a really fun game! I like the sword fighting outfit and ribbon the best! We don’t see swords often in the Mario world, and to see Peach wield one just looked so cool!
