Rangers pulled out a tight one, that honestly I don’t think should’ve been that tight. Our bullpen is seeming to get back to its old tricks before the back end takes over. Starters are doing ok for the most part, but still need some improvement.
Also, I get that Jack was a 2nd overall pick, but I don’t think that justifies him flying through the minors like he has. I think looking at him he seems to lack confidence in his stuff. You can say it’s about the injury situation, but it seems like there are better options out there for us. I hate to use the word bust this early, but it seems to be looking that way.
We had minor league pitchers. Relax
First day at the Coliseum for me and two incredible games, if only the A’s had completed the comeback in this one!

Leiter had an ERA over 5 in the minors. No idea why they even considered bringing him up. Everybody knew he was going to get shelled.
DeGrom, Scherzer, Eovaldi, Dunning, Sborz, Bradford, and several others are on the IL. Rangers need all the arms they can summon and you might as well call up a prospect and see what he has.
They're paper thin with pitching right now. It shows you how bad the arms are at the farm. For whatever reason they cannot develop pitching.
@@LinkRocks they're not the only team. Very few have figured out how to develop pitching consistently.
I mean his dad works for MLB Network too, so that probably helped in getting him called up.
I think it’s less about how thin he is, and more about the fact of where he was drafted. I’m not saying he’s a bust, but I think the rangers are trying to justify drafting him and calling him up early. At least that’s my theory.
Everyone talks about mma math but baseball math literally makes no sense I lost my bet because the rangers got blown out the 1st game just for them to win and score 7 the very next hour smh 😂
