The 3 laws of robots are but fiction, but could they actually be built into AI robots for real?

    • @hevans1944
      @hevans1944 День тому

Not "NO" but Hell No! Isaac Asimov was a scientist and author, but not an engineer. His Three Laws made sense in the context of fictional stories. I R now an enga-near, but just a few decades ago I cud not even spull it. Real engineers of course have to obey certain "laws" but these are not laws written by people. They are what we have discovered about the Universe and Reality. Those "laws" simply cannot be broken. The Three Laws of Robotics just screams for someone to defeat them. BTW, Asimov wrote about that scenario, too.

Today robots not familiarized as our freind.
Robot user market is two different customers .
One is industries. Second is domestic .
Today one type is running in auto industries .
Second is still waiting for little upgrade.
I see domestic robot must be humanoid style main concept
For freindship. Freindship feature need very inportant
Factor in this second type robot class.
I want support new and easy idea for robot makers.
    Face display system .
This is easy and freindship make like as ordinary T.V
    And smart phone screens.
Sophia robot used as humanoid face. But one face fixed
And not act as human. Normal T.V screen could do
This familiar work easily with thoundsand faces.
Domestic robot must do with screen display faces.
Human faces application with A.I will installed at
Robot features . This robots will be familiar easily.
Man, woman, child all faces could be select from
    Customer wanted .
Who will invent Face display for Domestic robots?
touch screen face will support relationship easily
Within customer and robot. They could talk with
Each other by face display's second item
    "Talk with robot and owner".

The future of robots , will be a huge bankruptcy . Because robots will have no money to purchase things made by other robots . 😂😂😂

With robotic AI replacing humans, why should there be any need for money? Or food? Or housing? Or transportation? Or anything at all that humans favor? All robotic activity will soon be powered with an advanced Bunny Rabbit rechargeable battery.

The truth of the matter is that if a robot is merely designed to solve a problem then it can look like a heap of junk eg going into a bombed building to lift rubble and find survivors or working among automated systems to lift objects that humans would need hoists for but what should happen afterwards is visibility and speech. Visibility means like madam toudauds making their skin look human to cover over their weird metallic or plastic joints. Next they should stop with the ridiculously halting speech. It isn't uncanny but irritating. Humans don't react to each other in that way as though being forced to figure out how to GENUINELY sympathise and answer. It gives the inappropriate impression that it's trying to hide from us discerning humans that it is lost and trying to find itself. So far they as interactors seem designed for desperately lonely people who think that a pathetic heap of junk is better than having no one. Finally the weird manner in which they move, walk and facially and tonally emote. It seems that these dumb looking effects are the result of server motors being UNABLE to copy the beauty and grace of REAL HUMANS. This also explains how amputees feel about using high tech limbs , wheelchairs etc when they were happier with admitting that solid plastic legs and pincer hands were adequate replacements for the real limbs they miss. At least they won't have to ask how long before I have to recharge it. Don't flatter yourself these robots look like ugly toys and in their present form could not be acceptably integrated into society. This explains why in movies humans or cgi animation have to play us humans.

Yes, but the progress in the last 10 years has been tremendous. Robots are constantly improving, but we humans are not. How long will it take for them to surpass us?

Éste vídeo no me gustó, empezando por la voz, demasiado agresivo y terrorista. El pez parece más una bomba submarina que un pez. Bye.

The way of explanation was good but i think you have added some irrelevant information here. please do some research properly, mate. Robots are so upfront these days. Your content is known for it's broad and accurate explanation. Don't go lower than your values. 💀
