@@alialkilani1182 no, they cannot. No copyright law lets anyone license out things like super moves, even when they are incredibly unique. Otherwise there would still be a dispute between CAPCOM and Toei over “kamehameha” and “hadoken”.

I know I’m asking way too much from people, but holy hell, does it take Hideki Kamiya to make something completely original in action games ? Not a single human being ever came up with the idea of a *wonder-liner* from his absolute magnum opus *The Wonderful 101* , same goes to the idea of Bayonetta’s guns, where consecutive button presses after the hits make her actually shoot the firearms. Pretty much can be said of Viewtiful Joe’s *Visual Effects* powers where he slows down, speeds up and zooms in reality of the movie he’s in, or Amaterasu’s *Celestial Brush* from Okami, that lets her literally draw into being reality and it’s elements.
All I’m saying is I’m getting really bored of all these overused mechanics in action games. Just seeing a guy with a katana in a game forces me to yawn… Well, unless it’s Yoshimitsu, who got a reveal trailer just today for T8. Our boy looks really good, but again - that’s Yoshimitsu, the OG, he is permitted to be himself. New characters truly do force me to roll my eyes.

This game carries a lot potential behind it and it isnt just parrying nukes. I can see an intriguing story going on as well as combat loop thats quite enjoyable especially including the fact that we only got glimpse of it in a demo. It left me with many questions and I wanted more when it ended. They still got tons of things to improve like UI or performance issues that I encountered while exploring the map, I like the art direction they are going with but it starts to hurt the eyes after a while so maybe they will improve upon the graphics to be more eye-friendly. Cant wait to see how a full release will turn out

After Furi, no game has given us a similar game sadly. Hopefully this one will be epic and it's open world somehow? Can't wait to play it, whenever it comes out.

Is the combat in this game similar to Furi? Is every boss fight orchestrated and follows the same pattern? Or is there randomness and can you attack freely kinda like in dark souls, elden ring etc?

This game is odd because it's really good, but made really badly imo. I have a lot of issues with this game (as per the demo) but there is a really raw sense of the world. Hope it gets fleshed out and you get more movement / traversal options. This game somehow manages to be really awesome even when it shouldn't.
Its just the graphics for me personally. Looks too liminal in a way that doesn't look right or intentional (maybe it is?) And the colors are lame. Gameplay looks great though
For reference the dev said that the world is heavily inspired by Blame! with how gigantic the environment is.
100% I felt that. They capture that vibe incredibly well and it is by far the games strongest suit. Hope the rest of the game can become as good as that pure sense of atmosphere. It also shares similarities with Subnautica in that you get the sense that this world doesn't care about you. The world wasn't made for you, but is awesome nonetheless.@@jinjinjinrou
I played the demo for about an hour yesterday…. The character physics need a lot of work, and that’s all I can really say right now… I haven’t gotten deep enough into combat yet.
But the world is interesting and it’s a fun concept. Definitely keeping an eye on this game.

I swear I tried to parry S-104 during the demo, and never could. Seeing him being parryable eases my mind a tad bit.

There are certain attacks you cant parry you have to experiment around but generally the air slices (except for the hellstorm one) are not parry-able
From what I've gathered his ranged attacks aren't parryable. His dash-judgemental cut can be parried, and so is his downward slice and 3 hit combo.
