Y’all are so weird… Najee runs the same every week. But it’s never appreciated. He finally goes against boxes that aren’t stacked and you see his full potential. But the man has had consistent availability, 3 1000yrd seasons, with the youngest worst offense with horrid QB play. When Corderrell Patterson came is that week he ran vs pass defense and there were actual blocks. He has a 3.9yrs average while having the top 3 broken tackles in the league. 🤦🏽♂️
The crowd booing him shows how dumb and how little they know about football. Not russ fault that fields isnt good enough. This stuff is why steelers won't resign fields at all.
PIckens now 9th in Receiving Yards, Najee is i think 6th in Rushing Yards. Dont look now. but we might be one WR2 and some good health from winning a SB. i do think this team has the talent to do it on the roster at this point. they have gamechangers on every position group as well as quality backups at almost every position group. At this point we have all we need. Think about it. we have what seems to be a good defensive, offensive, special teams and head coach. we have a #1 receiver, 2 good tight ends, 2.5 good running backs, if o-line healthy there is a ton of talent on it and we are seeing that there is depth there as well. if we get consistent QB play and a WR2. offense looking good with very high potential we have the best D in football with multiple insane players at every lvl. we have Chris Boswell. best kicker in football we have maybe the best kick blocking team ever? they have 4 (should be 5) so far this season. last season full season for all 32 teams was 27 total which is under 1 blocked kick on average per team. they are on pace to block 9.7 kicks by end of season which is completely out of this world. There was a shot at the end of the game of Russel, Najee and George laughing together looking like a return of the killer B's trio which got me so hyped. i dont think its being just a homer to say this team has the tools. Just hoping to see them realize it.
