Hi @robr8554, Yes the single FET devices such as LMG3100R017 can be used as load switches. The PWM signal needs to come externally for the switch to operate with no need for a driver as that comes integrated with the device.
@@TexasInstruments is there an app note showing where to apply the PWM signal to keep the internal bootstrap cap charged? I plan to use it as a load switch
Hi @rob8554, The LI input with respect to AGND (internally connected to SRC) has to be used for PWM while making sure (Vcc-AGND) is 5V. When PWM is high, FET between DRN-SRC turns ON allowing current flow from DRN to SRC. We do not have an app note on this, however, basic functionality is explained in LMG3100R017 datasheet.
Is the IT ADS 7830I 8BTL chip able to used as a bi-directional logic level converter (for low voltages)?
Can these be used for load switches to switch high currents? Looks like the single one can be used.

Fantastic... so does the LI pin need to be pulsing or static high?
