Coming up on 6 months sober in 5 days, from alcohol abuse. Been drinking heavy for 16 years since I was 15. Lost loved ones, my career, friends and myself only to find Christ within me.
Everytime I have relapsed he was waiting for me to come back to HIM. Every time I considered ending my life, HE was showing me that I NEED HIM. HE never left me. Even though it’s only 6 months I haven’t felt this peace in forever. 🙏🏽⚓️✝️

This song is helping me I play it every night before I pray. Currently in a rehab learning to walk again. Member of a different faith but find Phil Wickham’s talent and his sincerity very inspiring.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life, every knee will bow and confess that he is LORD!
He and I are of the same faith, but I feel the same way! I've always been very blessed by his faithfulness to God, and I'm glad you were too. 😊 Learning to walk again is tough. I made it through okay but some of the others who were in rehab with me had a very hard time. I hope that your rehab went well and you are well too.

As others have said, this song helped me through a very difficult time last year. I have allergies and asthma and have dealt with these and other chronic illnesses since 2006. In July 2022 my wife and daughter painted our daughter's room. The paint caused me to get asthma, even though the paint store told them it was supposed to be low VOC and even was used in hospitals. After examining the paint I discovered it contained Silica which can actually cause lung cancer if inhaled when it's sanded! My breathing struggled at our house for several months and the increased inflammation made my allergies worse. I was miserable and it was very hard on me because the very place I lived was making me sick! We couldn't just pick up and move but had to be patient and allow the paint and VOC's to off-gas. Thankfully I started to improve around October and gradually got back to a more normal. I remember listening to this song and picturing myself literally on my knees and not having a solution to this health issue, but still trying to praise God in this storm and asking Him to help me. I thank God for getting me through this and sometimes when I look back I start to cry some because it was literally one of the hardest battles I've gone through. Thanks Phil Wickham for making such great music which is so genuine and leads us to praise our Lord and Savior!
