I swapped the ESC for 4S to run reliability. Really the blx100 can technically do it but it’s gonna get it hot much faster and cut out after a bit depending on how strong a battery being ran. I’ve run much spicier set ups with way dogey ESC’s lol. I’m not recommending you to do it without proper parts though.
@@Scrammy18 would a 2 to 1 connection with two matching 2s batteries do it? I'm curious because when the weather cools off a bit more I'm thinking of doing a 4s speed run on the stock ESC on a Senton 3s. I know it could be reckless but maybe spectacular too lol.
@@Rek_Rc yeah two 2S batteries would accomplish the same thing. You would have to make sure the wiring was correct but sure you can get the same final voltage
On average you can figure 10 mph per cell increase or decrease, so like 38mph+/- on 4s 6000mha 100c = 48mph+/- on 5s, 6000mha 100c = 58mph+/- on 6s 6000mha 100c (All (C ratings) and (ma), ect the being equal and (all batteries fully charged) just different cell rating only)
Yeah that’s a good range. Then you can add the environmental conditions as well. I pretty much just do speed tests for fun. A lot of people obsess over 1 or 2mph. I think as long as it makes you smile then that’s all that matters.
Yeah it’s a fun truck! Best part is that it can take one hell of a beating too. The only things I broke are the plastic towers that the body sits on. They still work but are cracked. Other than that it’s never broke on me. It’s a fun all around rig
gnarly run on the senton !
Yeah it's a pretty wild little machine!
I love my senton
It's a little beast
How long does the senton run for on a 3s 5000mAh battery? Nice vid mate.
If you’re doing flat out speed runs maybe 15 min. If you’re mixed driving ide say closer to 30 min. Thanks!
@@Scrammy18 Damn. I'm only getting 10 minutes per battery on my v3, 6000mAh 80c 3s.
@@rotn50 really? You must have quite the lead foot lol.
@@Scrammy18 lol, it will do the same if I take it easy. I've read that the blx100 esc can be dodgy.
@@rotn50 yeah it would never hurt to go up to the blx120
0:04 oh man)
Pretty much lol
Oh damn..Duratrax makes good tires for the Senton..So does Dynamite Speedtreads..14mm hexs
Yeah its definitely time to find some good treads. Lol poor Senton went to the moon. On 4s its just insane lol.
Did you swap the esc to run 4s? Or did you just go for it on the BLX 100 ESC?

@@Scrammy18 perfect, I really appreciate the reply and info sir.
@@Rek_Rc no problem man!
56 mph is what my Mojave does on the stock pinion. I am about to install the speed pinion that it came with and see how it does.

When you use like 4 s batteries in a 8 s system dose it kill batterys and how is run time affected ?
What mph app are you using? Great stuff btw 🤘🏽🎉
It's called Speedometer. Thanks man! Lots more videos to come.
I have the senton, its awesome, tires are to soft, wear to quick, majave is car I also want at some point👌👍
Well its a great truck! It's pretty damn fast and sure takes a hell of a lot of abuse!
You can run 4s on stock motor and everything else stock??
Yes you can man. Gotta put 120 amp esc not the stock 100 amp. It might work but it's a 5 min swap anyway
Mojave on 6s hauls ass, I've gotta get one!
