I lived in a small western New York State town, and their volunteer firefighters all had blue lights on their personal vehicles. I saw blue roof lights on a pickup truck that looked like it was held together with rust.
Hi, friend, You can see this blue roof light bar, the product link: www.amazon.com/XRIDONSEN-Emergency-Flashing-Magnetic-Construction/dp/B0D4C9RPNP?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 thanks!
How do you hard wire them because I would prefer to hard wire them to my trucks for my business. I have the amber ones and would like to keep them and by more but if i can't hard wire them ill have to find a different drand but i dont want to.
Hi, dear buyer, The power wire can be hard wired, but the display controller need be remain. Need the controller to control the flash patterns, thanks!
If you’d be interested in some good visor bars that’ll last you a good 5 years Atleast then I’ll comment my email. I sell lights all day full time. If you got a fleet, then you’ll want something better and brighter. Just reply and lmk. Thanks.
All of them but different ones have different requirement but you have to be at least volunteer sar firefighter or be a police officer operating out of your personal vehicle
Im a volunteer firefighter. I bought amber and white for visibility while responding. Not to bypass ir get emergent right of way. That ok? How will people react?
I order a single pair for my dash for now I seen they make a light bar for inside windshield I get that later one ok for now for $20 I figured it be cool but I wouldn’t use it or any other reason just for the looks I know that be illegal 😮
Hi, dear friend, Thank you for your interest! This light doesn’t come with takedowns, but we do have another light that includes takedowns. You can find it here: www.amazon.com/Emergency-Interior-Windshield-Volunteer-Firefighter/dp/B09L3YGN6M?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! 😊
What state are you a volunteer firefighter in? Laws differ state by state and where I'm from in NY, we only need a signature from the chief as a notice of written permission. NJ is different I believe, but again it depends on the state laws. Check with your department too, they probably have mentioned something related to POV lighting in their policy.
I suggest googling "Blue lights law in (state)". This is NY: 4. Blue Light. One blue light may be affixed to any motor vehicle owned by a volunteer member of a fire department or on a motor vehicle owned by a member of such person's family residing in the same household or by a business enterprise in which such person has a proprietary interest or by which he is employed, provided such volunteer fireman has been authorized in writing to so affix a blue light by the chief of the fire department or company of which he is a member, which authorization shall be subject to revocation at any time by the chief who issued the same or his successor in office. Such blue light may be displayed by such volunteer fireman on such a vehicle only when engaged in an emergency operation. ^Granted most members never receive written authorization here. I never heard of any issue, but if there where, everyone at least carries their department ID.
Dear friend, If your state law allows it, there is no problem. A variety of colors to choose from. You may be able to choose the colors that are allowed. thanks!

They really need to just choose a standard, and provide them for departments/firefighters that show a need, then send a PSA and teach in drivers Ed what that particular lighting kit means, so they know if some firefighter goes crazy and abuses it, I also would be HAPPY as a taxpayer to pay for them and include the transponder that gives the green as long as you guys yield when the light doesn’t change or there is a stop/yield sign, they are returned when you no longer have a need, and to appease state police, inspect them once in a while so they can rest assured you’re using the standard issue lighting kit… Beside, you’re saving lives and you deserve a free toy for your kid’s birthday party or whatever. With all this tech nowadays, if they’re really that paranoid that fellow first responders that go through a battery of background checks and training just like the police and are trusted to take peoples lives into their hands… literally… if they’re seriously that paranoid they can even have a device that activates and logs the times you turn them on, and the chief or the police can just glance at the log and go “yep, that seems like a normal use” or “why is this guy turning it on for 15 seconds every 28 mins? Maybe, I’ll ask him why he uses it so much when there is no fire or he isn’t working?”
I agree with that. I think it’s because the law specifically says that ONLY chiefs and deputy chiefs can run red/white red/green in personal vehicles. Just decide on a standard package, and honestly as a taxpayer, I would be HAPPY to provide the standard package for firefighters who show a need.
It's not illegal if you aren't a volunteer firefighter or if you're any emergency services or you are on private property or making a movie but if you are using them unlawfully then it's considered unlawful use of emergency lighting
To solve your flashback problem, I would suggest picking up a roll of black paper tape.
I have these coming in the mail tomorrow 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Can you do this configuration in amber and white for security patrol?
Their on amazon
Yes
Dear friend, you can see the amber/white one in this link: amz.do/2KjcV7
thanks!
Yes I have their Amber and white dual front bars and rear 35-in traffic control bar. They are absolutely wonderful for the money

These lights seem like a solid product. By chance do they make them with a red and blue combo ?
Hi, dear friend,
Yes, we have red and blue one, you can see it in this link: amz.do/ty3Tbx
thanks!
Can you combine 2 on the front and 2 on the back?
I have Amber and white for Search and Rescue. I definitely would not recommend any reds or blues without authorization

How can I hide the wires?
I'm just wondering what state allows emergency lights on a private vehicle?
All. Depending on what state you live in, will determine on the colors you can run. Amber is allowed by anyone in any state
All of them
All of them but different ones have different requirement but you have to be at least volunteer sar firefighter or be a police officer operating out of your personal vehicle
Can use the blue and red in my personal vehicle as a security at night ( California Bay Area ) ?
Is there a setting to have only the white turn on?
you may need to get a specific set of lights for that, unless it specifies that your lights can do that from the control box
Im a volunteer firefighter. I bought amber and white for visibility while responding. Not to bypass ir get emergent right of way. That ok? How will people react?
Hi, dear friend,
Yes, it's ok if your local laws allow it. Thanks!
@autron-lights2810 Well the stupid dispatcher said no definitely not and sounded unsure

What type of permit would I need to put these in my truck? I am a Volunteer firefighter new to the service and looking into some blue lights.

Is Jeremy DeWitte here in the comments? Just a thought.
That guy is something else 😂
How bad is the flash back on the interior of the car?
Sometimes just putting the sub visor blocks the flash back
How did you hardwire them
Hi, dear friend,
You can harwire the power, but the display controller can not be cut, thanks!
Can you switch between red/blue and amber/white?
Hi, dear friend,
No, this dash strobe light can not switch colors. thanks!
It's all for fun people in the comments are just. It hurt It's just for fun who cares if it's illegal
What watt leds are these?
Hi, friend,
Thanks for your watching. The watts is 32W, thanks!
Is it any problem to put in in my car , with am not a cop

@@autron-lights2810 Can you use it for fun to see if people let you past... just wondering, I don't even drive or have a license
@@EMINEMisTHEbest919 no, you would be charged for impersonating a police officer, which is a felony
In most states, you can have red/blue lights on your vehicle, they just cannot be activated on public roads, assuming you do live in America

My lights keep falling off any tricks
WD-40 but don’t use to much cause it will drip down and be really oily and have glare or use soap and water.

Why would FF’s have blue emergency lights that make them look like a UC and not red?
Some states like in New York require volunteers to have blue lights
Emergency light laws are different throughout the country
Blue light permit required here in Missouri just FYI if anyone cares 😂
It's universally understood but sadly every state is different, like Vegas has red and blue on their fire trucks and ambulances
I agree with that.
