Awesome... Loved how you really took your time with showing us how you crochet them. I use a different hook... Without the latch part of it. Love your videos ❤️
You have no idea how happy that makes me!! Thank you so much for taking the time to share that!!! Best wishes on your journey! I hope it is wonderful for you like it has been for me! 💕
Soo good! I’m also getting ready to start my journey! You know what I would love to learn next? How to decorate dreads! I can’t figure out how people are able to put string in, and how to know the size of beads to use? Would we be able to get a demo of that sometime? 😊
Omg so glad I found this video! I always had short natty dreads but got some synthetic extensions and hated them and getting human hair installed is so pricey. I'm so doing this more cost effective option. Lots of tutorials on this out there but I appreciate that I can see what you're doing and thanks for linking the hair you used. 🖖💚
I am in the process of getting locs! My friend put 4 at the bottom but I want to try it myself. This is so helpful as I will be using extensions for a while! I would actually love for you to work on my hair! Do you do that sort of thing? Lol Tha ja for your awesome content 🌞sunshine! Helping me on my journey
I also started learning from Wired and Stoned. I'm working on my second new set after 2.5 years and I feel like I can't get the extensions looking soft enough, they seem stiff and have a slight curviness. Maybe I am crocheting too much.
Thanks for all the product links! I've been wondering what hair to purchase, and the Sally's link was super helpful. There's so many types to look at online, that it was making me go cross-eyed. I'm dreading (no pun intended) making my extensions bc I think I have 70, or 71, or 69, babies that I want to extend. Do you think that one pack of hair you linked would be enough? Some of my locs are pencil thin and a few are sharpie thick....
Honestly doll I would get two at least. That’s a lot of locs and I usually get 30-35 out of one. (Of course depending on size.) It is always great to have extra on hand to mend or add extra length when shrinkage occurs! 💕
I am trying to decide on what type of extensions to purchase for my new dreads. It looks like synthetic is the cheapest but does it work just as well as real hair extensions? It’s going to cost a lot to go to a loctician but it want it done right. So can I use synthetic to help with the cost? I plan on making my own once I get the hang of it.
Do you always use Sassy hair or do you have a different brand that you prefer?? I'd love to have my loctician eventually switch my synthetic hair out for human.
@@LizaLocs right on!!!! Do you have videos that really focus on crocheting your own? I really just need to learn how to maintain my own hair 😂😂 if so, id love it if you could point me. If see most all your videos, but couldn't find what i was looking for exactly 🤔 and you're the best, so I'd love to hear your explanation for "how to". :)
what happens if you don't have 100% human hair? I didn't want to buy real human hair for a couple reasons, is this gonna be a problem? thanks for all that you share!! you are the BEST!!
@@LizaLocs YES!! liza, you are so right!! I made 10, installed one and it definitely feels different, heavier than the rest of my hair, itchy ... I am so torn. Plus I think I wanna try and pick this one out - this may take twice as long I bet. I would LOVE to chat about pros and cons of both!! Wish we lived closer!! Have you ever felt negative energy from human hair? Please forgive me if this is a strange question. Bless 💗
Amazing very detailed video thank youuuuuu❤
You're so welcome!
Very helpful!!! Thank you so much for explaining in detail with semi-up close view!!! 😊
Great closeup of detail work in this video. I’m transforming the quality of my dreads because of this channel. Thank you Liza!

Thank you so very much!!! I should have talked about why I love that little hook so much! Thank you so much for your support! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm getting ready to start my dread journey and this was one of the best videos I've seen on making locs.
You have no idea how happy that makes me!! Thank you so much for taking the time to share that!!! Best wishes on your journey! I hope it is wonderful for you like it has been for me! 💕
This is so unbelievably helpful!! The best I've seen so far ♥️ Will you show us how to attach the new loc? As always so so good friend ♥️
Yes that’s on my list for sure!!! 💕💕💕

Awesome! Congrats to you!!! I do have a decorating video but it is super quick! I’ll definitely add that to my list!! Thank you so much!! 💕
Excellent video, you explained it so well. I have no desire, nor skill to try to make my own but for those who do this is perfect!
Awesome!! Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️

I've been looking forward to this video! I'm sitting here sipping my morning coffee and relearning lol you did so well at explaining!
Oh lovely!!! I’m so freaking glad! And it’s like we are sipping our coffee together right now! 💕💕💕
You give me the crave for ice coffee every time you drink some 😂
Good I won’t feel so bad if others are drinking it as much as me! 😂😉☕️

Great tutorial. I would love if you could do a video showing how to attach it to your locks or hair!
That is definitely coming soon! 💕 thank you!!!!
Great detailed explanation... Interesting how I've only seen a few videos use a "latch hook" as apposed to the 1mm crochet hook 🤔
Thank you! It’s 1mm. I have worked with both hooks but much prefer the latch. 💕
Hi there Lyza!! I luv luv U! What an inspiration U r to me to here in Colorado. I want to know where u buy/get ur 100% human hair wefts?
This is SO great! Thank you ❤️
Thank YOU!!! I’m so happy it was helpful! 💕
Love your channel sis💜
Thank you so very much 💕
How many dreads are you able to get out of 1 pack of the sassy extensions? And how wide to you make them when sectioning them out ?

Is it basically like sewing but because you twist with your left hand it makes a round cage? Can I do this when the hair is wet after washing?

A few 🥰

This is much harder than you make it out to be but I think it’s because I need a latch I just have a regular one…thank you so much for sharing though
The latch hook is a lifesaver ❤️
How many grams of hair would I need for a full head of extensions?
How many dreads can you make out of one of those hair things?
How would I put a loop in the top if I want these to just be braided in? I have weft human hair to use.
You have to add an extension to the middle of a couple extensions!!
Hi, Great video. Do you have video that shows how to make to loop in the top?
what happens if you don't have 100% human hair? I didn't want to buy real human hair for a couple reasons, is this gonna be a problem? thanks for all that you share!! you are the BEST!!
You won’t be able to braid it or curl it… it can be itchier… stuff like that! Thank you! Hope that helps!

Just can’t do it at all this is impossible
Is real human hair just a preference or do you have a more…scientific reason behind the choice?
